He managed to convinced Serena and Bellicus and recreated the universe in which everything was a copy of the other.

When Malware battled 11-year-old Ben in the past, he took a blueprint of the Omnitrix in his palm and gave it to a cerebrocrustacean (Brainstorm's species) named Dr. Physcobos. He created the Nemetrix and hired Khyber so that he could hunt Ben and collect DNA samples from the Omnitrix.
