The real title of the Thomas The Tank Engine stories is 'The Railway Series' by the Reverend W.A. Awdry. Awdry wrote these books between 1945 and 1972. His son, Christopher then took over after his death. Britt Alcroft produced the popular children's program 'Thomas the Tank Engine' which was based on these stories. Ringo Starr, George Carlin and Alec Baldwin have all suited up as Mr. Conductor.

It is Lyle, the Loveable Crocodile who lives with the Primm Family.
