Eliza received her powers from an African shaman and used them to help animals wherever she went.

Otto and Reggie were siblings. The show took place in California. Some of the sports they took part in included mountain biking, rollerblading, skateboarding, street hockey, surfing, and skiing.

There were three TV movies based on the show, "Rocket Power: Race Across New Zealand" (2002), "Rocket Power: The Big Day" (2003), and "Rocket Power: Island of the Menehune" (2004).
