The robot in the movie bears an uncanny resemblance to Stu. What's more, Stu is overly tired, because he moves jerkily and mumbles on random topics, so to Tommy, he appears robotic. The adults on "Rugrats" can be negligent to say the least, but here, Stu acts responsibly by determining that the movie is far too scary for children.

Answer: Sleepwalking

Didi thinks he's working too hard and will sleepwalk again like last summer when he rearranged his sock drawer (at least he did something productive). In another episode, "The Legend of Satchmo", Stu said he had a bad camping experience in Manitoba the year before. He has a number of adventures that we never see.

He sees Stu's nipples and thinks they're bolts for a chest plate. He seems to have forgotten that he himself possesses two "bolts". Curiously, around the same time, Disney could not show male nipples in "Aladdin".

With his assistant Ramona (who's really a highchair), he attempts this culinary masterpiece, reciting, "One potato, two potato, three potato..." while tossing raw eggs onto the floor. He tried to do this last summer, too. Jack Riley, Stu's voice actor, died in 2016.

Cue the creepy music. While putting the kids to bed, Stu refers to Chuckie's mother as being alive. At this early point in the show, it wasn't decided whether Chuckie's father Chas was divorced or a widower. Season 4 clarified that Melinda, Chuckie's mother, is dead, creating a continuity error.

Answer: Reptar bars

Angelica shows one off, singing its jingle and demonstrating that it's "the candy bar that turns your tongue green". Thus, the babies' motivation for the episode has been set.

Reptar bars have been made. They aren't shaped like Reptar bars as shown in the series, but they have a green filling that turns your tongue green. In the series, there's also Reptar cereal that turns milk green. Getting a box is Tommy's goal in "Incident in Aisle Seven".

Answer: Scream

The trick-or-treaters scream in the haunted house, then run out with Reptar bars, so the babies assume the key to getting the bars is screaming, so they do. The parents assume the trick-or-treaters scared the kids, so they pull the curtain.

Answer: Angel

Of course, Angelica dresses as an angel, even though she's anything but. In "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown", Lucy says that a person should dress in a costume that contrasts their personality. Angelica unintentionally does just that--she's a terror and a spoiled brat, yet dresses as a benign angel, thinking she is one.

Her father Drew dresses as a gorilla, Didi is a vampire, and Stu is Frankenstein's monster.

Answer: No

On the contrary, they love it. Although Chuckie says "It is a little scary", he smiles when he says it and is never frightened by anything inside. The twins play with the worms, Tommy laughs while crushing grapes, and Chuckie gets nauseous looking in the funhouse mirror.

Answer: A dancing skeleton

Lou's hideous mask falls onto Chuckie, making Lou believe it moves by itself. Tommy gets caught in a sheet, looking like a ghost. The twins get spaghetti in their hair and stand in front of the funhouse mirrors, distorting their appearances. For some reason, the mirror reflects their faces, even though the backs of their heads face the mirrors. From these frights, Lou believes the little house is haunted.

The babies take the candy that the trick-or-treaters dropped while running away and get to turn their tongues green; meanwhile, the adults are too afraid to go into the little house they created...without flashlights, anyway.
