Lizzy Willis is not even almost a year younger than Winnie, but she's two inches taller. They both have the same brown hair and are often mistaken as twins.

Wild Thing, as the mare is called, is a beautiful white Arabian. Winnie meets the horse on her way home from work while Richard Spidell is trying to catch her.
