The Ford Taurus was #3, Toyota Corolla was #6, and the Chevrolet Malibu was #10. The rest of the list reads as follows: #2-Toyota Camry, #4-Honda Civic, #5-Ford Focus, #7-Chevrolet Cavalier, #8-Chevrolet Impala, and #9-Pontiac Grand Am.

Answer: France

This answer might surprise you. The American life expectancy, of 77.5 years is four years shorter than Japan's 81.5 years. Japan was #1 in longevity. Norway, which ranks #10, has a life expectancy of 78.9 years.

Answer: carbonated soft drinks

The United States was not listed in the top ten nations for consumption of alcohol, bottled water, or fresh coffee. Ireland topped the list for alcohol; Sweden, for fresh coffee; and Andorra, for bottled water. All figures are registered on a per capita basis.
8. Which country has the largest number of English-speaking people?

Answer: United States

The United Kingdom was #2, Canada was #3, and Australia was #4. The figures pertain to those who speak English as their primary language.
9. Which of the following countries has the longest school year?

Answer: China

The Chinese school year is 251 days long. Japan ranks second at 243 days, followed by Korea at 220. Israel placed fourth at 215, followed by Germany, and Russia at 210. Other countries included in the "top 10" are Switzerland at 207; and Scotland, Thailand, and Netherlands at 200. The United States bottoms the list at 180 days per year.
10. Which American city had the greatest number of overseas visitors during the year, 2000?

Answer: New York

Los Angeles, Orlando, and Miami were respectively listed as #'s 2, 3, and 4. The rest of the list includes: #5-San Francisco, #6-Las Vegas, #7-Oahu/Honolulu, #8-Washington D.C., #9-Chicago, and #10-Boston.
