AMF adopted the slogan "Always Means Fun" in the 1990's. At one time AMF owned Harley Davidson Motorcycles.
4. What was Laura Ingalls Wilder's maternal grandmother's first name?

Answer: Charlotte

Caroline was Laura's mother. Martha was Laura's great-grandmother, and Rose was Laura's daughter.
5. When were the first official shots of the U.S. Civil War fired?

Answer: April 12, 1861

At 4:30 a.m. Confederate General Pierre Beauregard order his troops to fire on Fort Sumter in Charleston, South Carolina. They fired 50 cannon shots officially beginning the Civil War.
6. When did the "midnight ride" of Paul Revere take place?

Answer: April 18, 1775

Revere's role was exaggerated by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's ballad "Paul Revere's Ride." In reality, Revere was detained by British Scouts while en route. One of the other riders with him made it to the patriots in time.
7. Who financed "Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory?"

Answer: Quaker Oats Company

Since "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" did poorly in its original theatrical run, Quaker chose to not get involved with any more movies.
8. Where did Gene Roddenberry, the creator of "Star Trek" attend high school?

Answer: Franklin High School

Franklin High School was located in Los Angeles, California. Gene was a member of the debate team and also played guitar for the family band. The other three schools are also located in Los Angeles.
9. In what year was the first U.S. Space Camp opened?

Answer: 1982

It was opened at The Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama. There are two more space camps currently in operation. They are located in Florida and California.
10. What are the five most popular ice cream flavors in America?

Answer: vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, butter pecan, neapolitan

With all the different flavors of ice cream, there is a flavor for everyone. Sunday is the most popular day in the week to buy ice cream. I checked several websites to confirm this. They all used their source as the International Ice Cream Association, 888 16th St., Washington, D.C. 20006.
