The song earned her a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Vocal Performance. The other answers sang on "Look at Me, I'm Sandra Dee".
4. UK Christmas Number One singles: "St Winifred's School Choir" had the 1980 number one spot. Which future star of "Coronation Street" performed in the choir?

Answer: Sally Lindsay

Sally Lindsay played Shelley Unwin in "Coronation Street", and she was only seven at the time the song was released. All other answers were "Coronation Street" actors throughout the years.
5. Formula One drivers: What nationality is the driver Sébastien Buemi?

Answer: Swiss

Buemi has worked for Scuderia Toro Rosso along with Jaime Alguersuari. Scuderia Toro Rosso is Italian for "Red Bull Racing", and has been sponsored by the energy drink Red Bull. Unfortunately, Red Bull didn't give Buemi wings, and he failed to get a podium finish.
6. Olympic host cities: Which of these European countries did NOT host the Olympic Games before 1930?

Answer: Italy

Rome was denied the ability to host the city, due to Vesuvius (of Pompeii fame) erupting. London took over in 1908. The others: Sweden, Stockholm - 1912; Belgium, Antwerp - 1920 ; Netherlands, Amsterdam - 1928. Rome was the host in 1960.
7. NATO phonetic alphabet: How many syllables are in the word that represents the letter "U"?

Answer: 3

U is represented by Uniform, which is three syllables: u-ni-form. The other three-syllable long letters are: India, Juliet, November and Sierra.
8. The Beatles albums: On which album does "I Am the Walrus" appear?

The album's cover has John Lennon at the front in a walrus mask in a crucifix position. This further lighted the rumours of the "Paul is Dead" conspiracy.
9. Red and white flags: Which Middle Eastern country's flag has only red and white on it?

Answer: Qatar

On "Pointless", David and Christos won £8,000 for naming this answer in the endgame. The Flag of Qatar has a purple colour to it, but is in fact officially recognised as red. This was a hard question as all the other countries have red and white on them, but either include green (Oman), black (Yemen) or both (Syria).
10. Chaucer's "The Canterbury Tales": "The Clerk's Tale" is a retelling of which Biblical book?

Answer: Job

The book tells the story of Lord Walter and how he tests Griselda, in a similar way to Job. Lord Walter tests her faith by pretending to kill her son and divorce her. She stays strong and they live happily together.
