Terry Fox is one of my biggest heroes. If you are not familiar with him, you probably should look it up, it is amazing. To make a long story short, he was diagnosed with cancer in his leg, and it was amputated. Then, he used a prosthetic leg to do a cross-Canada run to raise money for cancer research, but did not make it, and had a tragic death midway when cancer spread. People all around the world still raise money in his name.
