Answer: Buenos Aires

The capital became known as Ciudad Autonoma de Buenos Aires in 1994, when a constitutional amendment declared the city autonomous. Buenos Aires has a land area of 203 km2.
2. What is the widely known cultural dance, honored by UNESCO, that originated in Argentina?

Answer: Tango

Tango was born in Argentina, and was considered a lower class dance until it slowly gained popularity in the 1920s. The lyrics used in tango music usually included a form of slang called "lunfardo".
3. What countries share borders with Argentina?

Answer: Chile, Bolivia, Paraguay, Brazil & Uruguay

Argentina is the southernmost country of South America. It also borders the Atlantic Ocean.

Maria Eva Duarte Perón, better known as Eva Perón, was the "Evita" in question. She was the wife of Juan Domingo Peron. Eva died in 1952.

The breeding and mating season takes place from May to December. Puerto Madryn is very close to the Valdez Peninsula, where one can also find native elephant seal, penguin and sea lion colonies.

Answer: Mendoza

The variety of Malbec originated in France, where it has been one of the six varieties admitted in the making of Bordeaux wine. It took wonderfully to the weather of the Argentine province of Mendoza.

Answer: Silver

Silver is "argento" in Latin. Before being called Argentina, other names for this territory were Viceroyalty of the Rio de la Plata and United Provinces of the Rio de la Plata.
