The ride is called The Raid. It is just one of the events held at the fair. The fair is one of the largest agricultural fairs held in Europe. It is held for ten days starting the first Friday of June. Other events include a Bull Run, Bull Fighting, Cattle Herding, and Dance Festival.
2. After beautiful Lisbon, I traveled to the lovely city of Seville, Spain. My favorite place was the Palacio de la Condesa de Lebriga. The home of the late Countess de Lebriga is opened to the public for touring. Although dating back to the 1400s, it is the Countess' redecorating project in 1900 that is of interest to the public. The Countess bought many of the relics from the ancient roman city of Italic, including many mosaic floors dating to early Roman times.

The floor of Pan, is considered one of the best intact mosaic floors in the world.

In 1323, a merchant purchased what was sold to him as being a thorn from the Crown of Thorns worn by Jesus during the Crucifixion. He rebuilt the church and renamed it the Chiesa della Spina, which translates to Church of the Thorn. The church sits on the River Arno, and is a beautiful gothic building.
6. After visiting Pisa, I travel to Salzburg, Austria. Here I visit the birthplace of Joseph Mohr. Joseph Mohr would do something in the year 1816, that would forever make him famous. What did he do?

Answer: he wrote the words for "Silent Night".

You can visit the Silent Night Museum in Salzburg. It is in the home that was the birthplace of Joseph Mohr. He was born in 1792. After becoming a priest, he was pastoring a small church in a nearby village. It was believed for many, many years that he wrote "Silent Night" in the town of Oberndorf, but the original manuscript of the song was discovered in 1995, and was dated earlier than thought.

It was dated 1816. While first performed in Oberndorf, it was written much earlier. Franz Gruber composed the music.

Answer: Alphonse Mucha

Alphonse Mucha was born in Praque in 1860. He is best known for the work that he did while living in Paris at the turn of the century. He was a struggling artist when in 1894, he was commissioned to create a poster of Sarah Bernhardt. The poster became such a hit that many artists started to copy his designs.

At the beginning of the Art Nouveau movement, people referred to the movement as "Le Style Mucha". He is best known for his posters. The Mucha Museum is located in the Baroque Kaunicky Palace, and has many of his original works, including copies of all the different posters he created of Sarah Bernhardt.

Both foods are made with rye bread and sugar. Ymerdrys is grated rye bread with brown sugar mixed in, and Ollebrod is rye bread, sugar and non-alcoholic beer mixed together. Ymerdrys is still commonly served, but Ollebrod is not.

Robert Baden-Powell is the father of the scouting movement. He was the Inspector General of the Cavalry in 1907, when he first published his guide to scouting. The book became so popular, that scouting groups were formed throughout England, although there was no official organization.

In 1910, King Edward VII, suggested to Baden-Powell that he retire from the service, so that he could organize the many small scouting groups. Mr. Baden-Powell then set up the Boy Scout organization. The house where he lived now houses a scouting museum, as well as scouting library.
