Calgary and Seattle are about 6-7 hours drive from the central Okanagan, Edmonton is about 9 hours drive, and Vancouver is about 4.5 hours drive.

Answer: Okanagan Mountain Provincial Park

Not only did the Okanagan Mountain Fire of 2003 burn most of the park itself, but it also took about 270 Kelowna homes with it.
