The Rock was the site of the death of Azaria Chamberlain in 1980 where 'a dingo took my baby'.
9. I am in one of Australia's most progressive states. I have a multi-cultural population and have excellent beaches and climate, without the extremes of many of Australia's other major cities. I am the capital of a state that was Australia's last to vote 'yes' to the 1900 federal referendum.
