Both genders wore cloaks but often with different fastenings. men often used one brooch and women often used two linked brooches. The cloaks were usually made of thick wool or linen but some nobles would have had velvet cloaks.

The wimple was worn by married women to show they were wed. The other articles listed are all medieval.
