1. What is Merlin's nickname for Arthur?

Answer: Wart

"Wart" is Arthur's childhood nickname, now only Merlin uses it. Merlin is court magician and Arthur's mentor.
2. Which would-be knight arrives at Camelot and is initially disliked by everyone?

Answer: Lancelot

Lancelot is the only person from the choices that is actually in the show. Gawain is another knight from the Round Table who was famous for losing his temper, and Galahad was the pure-hearted knight who went on a quest for the Holy Grail. Leondeces is a name I made up.
3. Lancelot falls in love with Guenevere, King Arthur's wife and queen of Camelot. Lancelot exiles himself temporarily to deal with his feelings. How long is he away from Camelot?

Answer: Two years

Upon his return from questing far away from Camelot, King Arthur knights Lancelot. The two years away didn't help any; Lancelot still has feelings for Guenevere, and he admits them to her in the song "If Ever I Would Leave You".
4. Who makes an entrance at the start of the second act, singing about "The Seven Deadly Virtues"?

Answer: Mordred

Mordred is Arthur's illegitimate son, who is the antagonist of the show. In some accounts of Arthurian legend, Arthur laid with his cousin Morgan Le Fey, and that produced Mordred.
5. Arthur and Lancelot eventually find themselves opposing each other on the battlefield. Shortly before the battle, Arthur tells a young boy to chronicle the story of Camelot. What is this character's name?

Answer: Tom

Tom is supposed to be a younger version of Sir Thomas Mallory, who wrote "Le Morte D'Arthur", which is perhaps the definitive version of Arthurian legend. Roger Lancelyn Green is also an important Arthurian scholar.
6. Complete this lyric from "I Wonder What The King is Doing Tonight": "Ev'ryone smiling in ____________ delight."

Answer: Secret

In this number, Arthur is nervous over meeting his new bride, the lovely Guenevere. She's just as nervous, and they inadvertently meet during their respective escape attempts.
7. Complete this lyric from the title song: "And there's a legal limit to the ________ here/In Camelot."

Answer: Snow

In this song Arthur sings to Guenevere of how lovely Camelot is. According to him, seasons obey human laws: "Summer lingers through September/In Camelot."
8. Who sing the following line: " I beg of you, ma'am, withhold your invitation./I swear to you, this challenge will be met./And when I have finished up the operation,/I'll serve him to your highness en brochette."

Answer: Sir Sagramore

Sir Sagramore sings these lines to Queen Guenevere in the song "Then You May Take Me To The Fair". Sir Lionel and Sir Dinadain also have solo lines in this song.
9. According to Arthur, how should you handle a woman?

Answer: Love her

Arthur arrives at this conclusion in the song "How To Handle A Woman", a short solo song sung before "Before I Gaze At You Again".
10. According to Arthur, when did the fog leave?

Answer: Eight A.M.

"Don't let it be forgot/That once there was a spot/For one brief shining moment that was known/As Camelot." Arthur sings to young Tom of Warwick at the very end of the show. I hope you've enjoyed my quiz!
