Comden and Green were a famous pair who often wrote lyrics for Broadway shows. Among their credits are "On The Town", "Wonderful Town" and "Applause".

Curiously enough, Len Cariou and George Hearn both have experience playing the part of Sweeney Todd, a revenge-filled barber, in the musical of the same name. Hearn was also seen as The Wizard in "Wicked".
