Answer: Funny Boy

In the beginning, Max Bialystock has put on a play that the audience is utterly disgusted with. He called it "Funny Boy", which is a musical version of "Hamlet". "Springtime for Hitler" is the name of the play that he and Leo Bloom produce later, and "A Gay Romp" is part of the title for "Springtime for Hitler".
2. What does Leo Bloom discover when he does Max Bialystock's books?

Answer: That he made more money with a flop than a hit

In the song "We Can Do It", Max attempts to convince Leo that they can put on the biggest flop in history, on Leo's statement that he made more money with a flop. Leo does not want to do it at first, then he agrees after picturing his life as a successful producer.
3. Who wrote "the worst play ever written"?

Answer: Franz Liebkind

Max finds paydirt with Franz Liebkind's play "Springtime for Hitler" and convinces Franz to let him produce it with Leo. Roger DeBris is the director they hire to direct the play, Carmen Ghia is Roger's assistant, and Adolf Hitler is the main character in Franz's play.
