Answer: The Christmas Angel

The play was written by Jamie's dad, and it was actually based on his life.

Jamie's dad was a preacher and she was very religious.

Worth Carter was Landon's dad; Hegbert Sullivan was Jamie's dad, and Mr. Jenkins was the director of the orphanage. However, the character Tom Thornton was based on Hegbert.
6. Why couldn't Jamie and Landon do the play for the orphans?

Answer: Mr. Jenkins thought it would make them sad

Mr. Jenkins thought since the play was about a dad realizing how much he loved his daughter, it would make the orphans sad because they didn't have a dad to love them.

Answer: A minister

Nicholas Sparks said he thinks Landon did become a minister.

He nailed the line on the night of the play.

Answer: Yes

She married Landon. I thought this was so sweet! The book never actually says if Jamie lived or not. Nicholas Sparks said he couldn't make himself write the words because he had just fallen in love with the character of Jamie. He said people just had to use their imagination.
