Lord Captain Abdel Omerna stabbed Niall, then Eamon Valda killed Omerna. Valda said that he caught Omerna killing Niall, so killed him. In actuality, Omerna was following Valda's command to murder Niall. High Inquisitor Asunawa watched Niall die along with Valda. He promoted Valda and hid the truth so that Valda would turn Queen Morgase over to the inquisitors for questioning.

Answer: Halima

While Egwene was wearing the bracelet, she felt a man channel and remove the necklace from Moghedien. Halima, the male Forsaken who had been given a female body by the Dark Lord, was responsible for freeing her. Halima had been seen near "Marigan's" tent (the alias Moghedien was going by), but since he is in a female body, no one had connected the dots yet.

The two Accepted were raised to Aes Sedai by Egwene when she became Amyrlin in Salidar but can't be tested or swear the Three Oaths (the same for Nynaeve and Elayne) until they get back to the White Tower and the Oath Rod. They felt that Egwene was being manipulated by the other Aes Sedai and decided that they would swear loyalty to Egwene as the Amyrlin Seat but swore fealty to Egwene herself, not just the position of Amyrlin.

When Moiraine went through the twisted doorway with Lanfear, Lan's bond passed to Myrelle. Myrelle, of the Green Ajah, had experience keeping Warders alive who had lost their Aes Sedai. When Egwene found out, she sent Lan on a mission to find and protect Nynaeve, which turned out to be very fortunate for Nynaeve.

Answer: Cadsuane Melaidhrin

Cadsuane, who is very old and who was thought to be dead, had faced many men who could channel. Though of the Green Ajah, she had assisted in capturing False Dragons, including Logain and Mazrim Taim. She was very manipulative of Rand and he was unsure if he could trust her. Min had a viewing and saw that Cadsuane would "...teach you something, you and the Asha'man. All the Asha'man, I mean.

It's something you have to learn, but I don't know what it is, except that none of you will like learning it from her. You aren't going to like it at all."

Answer: Moghedien

The Dark Lord was displeased that Moghedien had been captured by Nyneave and had shared some of her knowledge with Nynaeve and Elayne. Her blood and saliva were scraped onto the cour'souvra, or mindtrap, a cage of crystal and gold. The mindtrap was given to a man who called himself Moridin, or Death.

He owns her now and possibly some other person since Moghedien thought she saw another mindtrap around Moridin's neck.

Answer: Reanne

The Kin was a "secret" organization of women who had failed their tests to be Aes Sedai or been put out of the White Tower. They did return runaways to the Tower. These women had not sworn on the Oath Rod, and as a result, were much older than Aes Sedai.

The White Tower did know about them, but had no idea how many or how old they were. Egwene has plans to affiliate them once again with the White Tower.

Answer: Flinn

Damer Flinn, one of Rand's Asha'man, had spent time studying healing and was able to save Rand's life though Rand still carried the evil from the two half-healed wounds he sustained up to this point.

While struggling for his life, Mat's medallion touched the gholam's cheek and burned it. It cryptically told Mat that "He wants you dead as much as he wants her." The gholam were creatures made by Aginor during the War of the Power to assassinate Aes Sedai. They seem to have no bones and can squeeze into very tight places. They can feel channeling but the Power has no affect on them.

Answer: Liah

Liah, an Aiel Maiden of the Spear, had been lost and left in Shadar Logoth in the book, "Lord of Chaos." More than likely insane, she was touched by the mist. Rand used balefire in order to ease her suffering. Her name was now added to the list of dead women who Rand felt responsible for.
