Saetan called him "Namesake" because Daemon was Saeten's namesake. Daemon's full name was Saetan Daemon SaDiablo, but Manny, one of Saetan's servents, refused to call him Saetan because Saetan (his father) was the High Priest of Hell. She called him Daemon, instead, and it stuck.

He did shatter his chalice, trying to being Jaenelle out of the Twisted Kingdom. She fixed it, but one wrong word (which came from Lucivar), broke his mind (his chalice.) He wandered around until he found Surreal, who protected him as often as she could. Jaenelle found Daemon again, found him, fixed his chalice the rest of the way, and brought him back as her Consort.

Saetan said that Daemon was more powerful and more dangerous because of how he was raised. He was raised as a pleasure slave for Dorothea's court, and passed around from Queen to Queen for 1,700 years, until Jaenelle Angelline - dreams made flesh - came along. He then served in her court as her consort.

He was the only male born a Black Widow. Saetan was also a Black Widow, but he wasn't born one. Daemon was also a Warlord Prince, and had some healing abilities, although he wasn't a Healer like Jaenelle or Gabrielle.
