2. Which tale takes place in Germany and is about an "evil" horse?

Answer: Metzengerstien

"Metzengerstien" was one of the first short stories ever published by Poe. It is a tale about two rich dueling families and one day one of the families' stables burn to the ground. That night the other family finds a strong horse with the other families' initials branded on it. But the horse belongs to no one and eventually controls its riders.
