Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Wanted for: regicide, multiple homicides, conspiracy to kill. Prone to hallucination and delusions of invulnerability.

Answer: Macbeth

Fans of 'Macbeth', I recommend trying to find a chance to see Bob Carlton's 'From A Jack To A King'. A brilliant take on Shakespeare's work, with a fantastic sixties soundtrack!
2. Wanted for: regicide, conspiracy to kill. Has a reputation for being quiet. Likes to "let his hands do the talking".

Answer: Casca

As in "speak hands, for me", which he says before he stabs Caesar. (From 'Julius Caesar', obviously.)
3. Wanted for: multiple homicide (including his own daughter). Known as 'The Baker' due to the treatment of his victims. (Police arrested a Mr S. Todd for a spate of copy-cat killings inspired by this man.)

Answer: Titus Andronicus

Imagine that, actually bothering to cook someone in a pie! Surely it would take ages to bake? It would have to be pretty big. (S. Todd is Sweeney Todd by the way, in case anyone was wondering.)
4. Wanted for: uxoricide. Has a bizarre irrational fear of parrots and watches. Know as 'The Moor'.

Answer: Othello

I should explain further. The fear of parrots was Iago (as in Disney's 'Aladdin') and the watches was Cassio. And uxor is Latin for wife- I looked it up and everything.
5. Wanted for: drug dealing, assisting a suicide. Known as 'The Quick' due to potency of the drugs he sells.

Answer: Apothecary

As in "true apothecary, thy drugs are quick".
6. Wanted for: domestic violence, neglect, torture. Hard to track down, since his wife is scared enough of him to provide an alibi.

Answer: Petruchio

Not much to say about this one. Apart from why did that work on her?
7. Wanted for: regicide, fratricide, attempted murder. Has an aversion to theatre.

Answer: Claudius

Actually, since Hamlet does die in the end, I suppose it's actual murder rather than attempted.
8. Theft, desertion, being drunk and disorderly. Has three accomplices, including a young boy.

Answer: Bardolph

I realised that this could apply to any of these, so I added the 'drunk and disorderly' bit, because Bardolph's the only one whose drinking is made a point of.
9. Wanted for: conspiracy to kill. Has a distinguishing aroma of fish.

Answer: Caliban

Similar to the comment on 'Macbeth', Bob Carlton also did 'Return to the Forbidden Planet' based on 'The Tempest', but in space. It's even better than 'FAJTAK'; I've seen it 8 times and still love it. If you can go and see it, DO!
10. Wanted for: regicide, fratricide, multiple homicide. His weakness is an intense love of horses.

Answer: Richard III

You'd be surprised how long it took me to think of three royal alternatives!
