In the book Claude has no idea that Sonja is a vampire. He dreads working the shift and the last room he checks on is Sonja's.

2. When Sonja looks into a mirror, what happens that makes her happy if she didn't have to look into another mirror again?

Answer: Her reflection moves on its own and doesn't follow her movements

When gazing into the mirror she expects there not to be one, based on myths of vampires. She then looks into it and sees that it has a life of its own.

3. In what year was Sonja Blue "created"?

In 1969 she was thrown from a Rolls Royce like garbage, left to die in the gutter. She has pretty much no idea who or what she is.

While vacationing in London, she was wooed by Sir Morgan and led to his Rolls Royce where she finds that he is a vampire. Chaz was her backstabbing friend. Pangloss was the maker of Morgan. Jackie is not in the book.

Her mother named her Kathy-Mae, an unbiblical name that her husband disapproves of.

Her imaginary friend is named Sally though it just so happens that she is actually a manifestation of Catherine's powers.

Her "Heart's Desire" method was very effective. It involved "relations" with her bodyguards. The thing is she would create illusions involving movie stars and relatives to brain wash them into being slaves.

The Agrisomnia is the ancient text written in the 13th century. It describes the different pretender races and ends up being like a bible to Sonja. The ability to haunt peoples' nightmares is never given a "term". Neither is the sleep of vampires or the unpublished book.

9. What is one of the last things to happen at the end of "Sunglasses after Dark"?

Answer: Sonja kills Catherine Wheele

Sonia kills Catherine Wheele at the end of the book. Catherine is the one who placed Sonja in the asylum in the beginning. Sonja kills Chaz early on in the book. Sonja never frees from the other. Sonja doesn't kill Morgan till the last book, "Paint it Black."

10. Which race of "pretender" likes to eat children?

Answer: Ogres

The Ogres, with their infant-like mentality, like to eat children head first. The Vargyr are the werewolves. Gets are the slaves and spokespeople of the Nobles.
