Answer: False

Dorian Gray had been poisoned by a book. Lord Henry had given him a book about a young man whose life was encompassed in leisure and luxury. Dorian had 8 copies, all bound in a different color to suit his mood.
2. In chapter twelve, who does Dorian walk past on the street, almost without recognizing him?

Answer: Basil

Basil is headed to a studio in Paris where he can focus on his art. But first, he desired to meet with Dorian in an attempt to save Dorian's reputation.
3. In chapter thirteen, what does Basil tell Dorian to do after he sees Dorian's picture?

Answer: Pray

When Basil sees the record of Dorian's sins, he realizes just how much trouble Dorian is in. He begs Dorian to pray. Basil is so infatuated with Dorian that he desires only to save him.

Answer: Sir Henry Ashton's uncle
