Each of the titles can be split into two separate words. Example: Hawksong= Hawk Song. Also, each book title refers to the main character in it. You also learn a bit more about each of the species mentioned in the title, such as Hawksong, you learn about Alasdair and her descendents, and in Falcondance, you learn of the falcons.

If you think back, Hai is the daughter of Darien of Cjarsa's Mercy, and Anjay Cobriana. Thus making her a Falcon/Cobra mix. Even though she ends up with only her falcon form, she still has the blood and semi-appearance of a cobra.

Hai came back because she swore to Nicias that if he went back, she would try as well. She was forced to fulfill the promise as Nicias is of royal falcon blood, and he swore to protect the Cobriana royal family. Though Hai almost fell to the Ecl many times after she awakened, Nicias was almost always the one to pull her back. She was the one to pull him back one time.

Interesting thing, Oliza could be herself around Betia; She didn't have to be a princess. She also knew that she could not take a mate with whom she would bear children, as the dancers would die, or Wyvern's Court would be claimed by flames.

Danica is a hawk, so Hawk's Keep is where she was raised as were most avians. Wyvern's Court was the dream created by Danica and Zane, Serpentine Palace was home to the serpentine, and Ahnmik is home to the falcons.

Frektane makes it seem like there is two words that would translate to something else. Frek for blue and tane for eyes. Also as mentioned in Wolfcry, Velyo had blue eyes, and he ended up being the Alpha to the Frektane pack.

Cjarsa is the White Empress, Kel was one of her Mercy, and Nicas is Araceli's grandson. Even though Araceli is the heir, Syfka tried to change that when she pitted Araceli against Cjarsa.

Answer: Prentice

Prentice heard the rumors that were spread by Arqueete, thus leading him to do what he thought was protecting his pair bond. Prentice used the poison given to the avians by the falcons during the war. Luckily, Hai had seen a vision of the attack, and was able to save Salem, though she surely made enemies along the way.
