Well let's see... we better hope very hard that Rushton is not Elspeth's brother, since he is her betrothed. Domick is also betrothed to the Healer Kella and Alexi was killed (and one should hope that he is DEFINITELY NOT Elspeth's brother) in the end of "Obernewtyn".

Answer: Daffyd

Daffyd, the very sad farseeker, is a key character, who forewarned the Misfits in the mountains against the attack of the Soldierguards. Myrna is the keeper who escorted Elspeth to Obernewtyn, and is also a girl! Henry is actually the Druid, who Daffyd used to work for before Ariel betrayed him. Ariel is Elspeth's greatest nemesis.

Answer: Cassy Duprey

Very mystical. Cassy never knew she had a talent. When she was shipped to a top-secret place in the mountains, she found an Agyllian bird who showed her her powers. The Agyllian, the Eldar Atthis' ancestor, told her to tell Hannah Seraphim that he, and the other Talented from Hannah's lab, were there.

Answer: Malik

Malik the nasty. It was he who ambushed the Misfits in the White Valley and then put on a innocent act afterwards. We all hate him. He is very ruthless and will sacrifice his own men to show that he is superior.

Answer: Innle

Innle, in Beastlegend, will lead all of the beasts to the free-running-barud (or in other words free-running-home). This is what most animals call her. Alad, the Beast-speaking guildmaster, believes that the animals only call her this because it can also mean "traveller".

Answer: Ashlings

Ashlings are dreams that call. These are such dreams as those Atthis gives to Elspeth and Maryon, the Futuretelling Guildmistress. Farseekers are people that can talk mind-to-mind. Seliga is a weird beast word, which Elspeth interprets as "go back".

Answer: Princess

Dragon is indeed the long-lost daughter of the Red Queen, who died at her gateman's hands. He killed her so that the slavers could dominate her land, because the legend says that "When the Red Queen rules the land, all evil shall be banished" or something like that.

When the gateman killed the Red Queen, prophecy says that "When the lost princess returns with the royal sceptre, you shall be free".

Answer: Bruna

Bruna is a very temperate girl, who loves playing games. She likes to be in the company of Dardelan, the sweet son of the Sutrium rebel leader Bodera. Bodera is dying of the rotting sickness, which makes painting a picture of Bodera very gross for us readers! ;)

Answer: Rushton

Rushton is the Master of Obernewtyn, a very sweet guy who was smitten with our hero from the first time he met her. In the caves of the Zebkrahn, when Alexi was toruring Elspeth, he showed his latent abilities by drawing Elspeth into a mindbond. When Madam Vega threatened to kill Rushton, Elspeth found her deadliest weapon: her power to kill with her mind. Very seriously freaky!

Answer: Domick

Domick was sent to spy on the malicious doings of the malevolent Council. He drew farther and farther away from Obernewtyn, until he severed all connections to the haven in the mountains. Currently, at the end of "The Keeping Place", Domick is missing and Kella is grief-stricken.

Answer: Brannoch

Brannoch was Freya's father, who sold her and all of his horses for a single bag of gold given to him by Rushton. A very nasty gesture, I thought! :)

Answer: We don't ever find out

Eril was actually one of the Nine. We never found out what the name of this malicious character was, who was bent on destoying the Misfits because of false religious fervour. We all hate the Herders, aside from Jik, the cute little empath who was killed in a firestorm. :(

Answer: A bear

At the end of "The Keeping Place", we learned of Dragon's lineage, and her sad past, forgotten because of a block in her conscious mind. Elspeth saved a drowning Rushton-bear, and released him from his mindless coma.

Answer: Petr Masterton

Old Petr Masterton was the burly guy that Cassy loathed. He was an inflexible figure and I'm sure we'd all like to see him die.

Answer: Dameon and Matthew

Dameon, the blind empath and Matthew, the farseeker were the inseparable couple in the mountains. They were the first friends Elspeth made. She and they conspired to escape and solved the mountain's mysteries together. According to some sources, apparently Dameon is in love with Elspeth! Well, that is the end of my quiz!
