1. Lasher was first introduced in "The Witching Hour" but how many other books were based primarily on this character?

Answer: 2

Although there were only three books in this particular series, the continuing story of the Blackwood farm tales involves characters from all of the preceding novels as well as the novel "Merrick".
2. Aaron Lightner was a member of which organization?

Answer: The Talamasca

The Talamasca appears in the majority of Anne's books, and through their research of the past, they tie all of the stories together.
3. What was the original name of the plantation that first created the Mayfair family fortune?

Answer: La Victoire

Although it was named Le Victoire, we are only told of this once or twice. Throughout the novels it becomes known simply as Riverbend.
4. Who was the father of many of the witches in the Mayfair family?

Answer: Julien

Julien was one of the most powerful of all the witches, thanks to Lasher, and through the centuries he impregnated his own family to keep the bloodline pure and to make sure that the family fortune would always stay in the family.
5. When Rowan eventually had a child, who was the father?

Answer: Lasher

Although Rowan was pregnant with Michael's child to begin with, Lashar killed it in the womb and later impregnated her with his own child.
6. In which town did the story of the Taltos first begin?

Answer: Donnelaith

Donnelaith was the first place that the Taltos gathered and established themselves as many instead of the few that they thought they were.
7. What was the name of Rowan's daughter?

Answer: Emaleth

Emaleth was the Taltos female that Ashlar had been waiting for centuries to be born.
8. When Dr Rowan Mayfair first met her husband Michael, where did they meet?

Answer: On Rowan's boat

Although it appears that Rowan and Michael met at his home, in further books we are told that they actually met earlier out on the ocean. Michael had drowned and amazingly Rowan came across him in the middle of nowhere and saved his life, though neither of them remembered this when they met at his home.
9. Why did Lashar kill multiple female members of the Mayfair Family?

Answer: He wanted a child

Lasher tried to get numerous women in the Mayfair family pregnant so that he would have his child; however, only two were capable of carrying a Taltos child to term.
10. Ashlar was known to people in ancient times as what?

Answer: A saint

Although he was thought of as many things, he was a gentle being and in Donnaleith, in ancient times, Ashlar was worshiped in a church dedicated to him as a saint.
