Just like "City Slickers", we get to see a really cute animated opening during the credits. In both movies, Mitch goes west to do the cowboy thing. First to a dude ranch, then to Las Vegas to dig for gold. That is why the opening features a little cowboy.

He tries to use a lasso and accidentally ropes a bull. The bull then rolls him into a ball, dribbles him and shoots him into a cactus hoop!

Yes, Mitch's mother calls to wish him a happy birthday. She tells the "angel birthday boy" about the day he was born. I think she does that every year, because Mitch mimics the entire story of his birth along with her.

Mitch goes for a jog with his cow, Norman! As you probably know, Mitch delivered a calf in the first movie, and decided to take him home. As they're jogging, Mitch tells him how happy he is they moved to the country and says, "How are you ever going to get into a bathing suit? You're like 800 pounds!" It's very cute!

Because of Phil's recent divorce, he is sad and depressed. I guess Phil is bored, because at night, he imagines his clothes are coming to life. The psychiatrist asks him if they are women's clothes or men's. Phil tells him they are men's clothing and he doesn't own any women's clothes. Before they can get any further into their discussion, Mitch walks into Phil's office. Mitch knows Phil is on the air with the psychiatrist and hangs up the phone.

On the train ride home, Mitch thinks he sees Curly. Remember, Curly died on the trail in the first movie. Mitch freaks outs, like anyone would. When the train stops, he tries to find him. He sees a man resembling Curly from the back, but when he turns around, it's not him. After that, Mitch thinks he only imagined seeing Curly.

Glen is Mitch's younger brother. Mitch is very worried that Glen has come to visit. Mitch tells Barbara that Glen is "a dented can" and "a lost soul". He moves from one family member to another, borrowing money. I guess that's why he's there.

The map was hidden in Curly's old hat. It was made by Lincoln Washburn, an infamous bank robber who stole one million dollars in gold, and hid it in Las Vegas.

The guys are trying to follow the map, but they didn't bring a compass. Mitch asks which way is north, and Phil says, "up"! That response is just about as goofy as Glen's approach to following the map. Glen's theory is that the sun sets in the west, and when you're way out west, you're past where the sun sets! He is obviously wrong.

Mitch and Phil complain that the words on the map are too small. Glen comes over and reads it with a magnifying glass. When they spot the boulder in the shape of a hand, they know the map is real. They're so busy celebrating that Glen doesn't notice he still has the magnifying glass against the map. Luckily, he puts out the fire before it can do much damage.

The map only has a small hole. After that, Mitch decides he needs to make a copy of the map!
