There was a scene filmed that was supposed to come at the end of the movie where a man came in to rob the quick mart and shoots Dante, apparently to death. Smith removed the scene prior to release so the film would have a happier ending. It can be found in the extras part of some video versions.

The producers presented Mrs Baum with the coat after the film's release.

Dorothy: "So how do you talk if you haven't got a brain?"

"We can't bury Shelly. S-She's a friend of ours."
4. "A different set of jaws" was a tag line for what 1975 musical? Also, "Another kind of Rocky".

Answer: The Rocky Horror Picture Show

A flat tire leads a newly engaged couple to a lonely castle on a dark and stormy night. There they meet their host, Frank N Furter, and get drawn into his debauched ways.

The quintessential midnight movie featured the big screen debut of both Tim Curry and Meat Loaf. Susan Sarandon described "Rocky Horror" as the only one of her movies that "they'll place in a time capsule".

"Give yourself over to absolute pleasure. Swim the warm waters of sins of the flesh - erotic nightmares beyond any measure, and sensual daydreams to treasure forever. Can't you just see it? Don't dream it, be it."
5. A famed British comedy troupe presented us with what ludicrous take on the King Arthur legend?

Answer: Monty Python and the Holy Grail

King Arthur is tasked by God to find the Holy Grail. As he travels the land seeking knights to join him, silliness is a constant companion.

For those of you that wondered: The average airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow is approximately 11 meters a second or 24 miles an hour. Swallows actually beat their wings 14 times a second and weigh two thirds of an ounce. A coconut commonly weighs around five pounds, and Assyria had four capitals: Calah, Dur Sharrukin, Asher, and Nineveh. Finally Sir Galahad's favourite colour is yellow.

"Ni."
6. What 1932, Tod Browning directed film featured actual circus sideshow performers for much of its cast?

Answer: Freaks

A midget working in a circus sideshow is also heir to a fortune. A pair of other performers scheme to seduce, marry and murder the poor man in order to get there hands on his money. He is protected by his fellow freaks.

"Freaks" had to be reedited when the original version proved to be too controversial even for precode Hollywood. Approximately 30 minutes was removed from the film and a new "happier" ending was added. The footage that was removed has disappeared and has become the holy grail of cult film culture.

"We accept you, one of us! Gooble Gobble!"
7. Schlock film company Troma has a library of cult films. Which superhero film features nerdy, mop boy Melvin Junko who gets transformed into "a hideously deformed creature of superhuman size and strength"?

Answer: The Toxic Avenger

Poor Melvin after being bullied and tormented by all the people at the health spa falls into a vat of toxic waste. Instead of being killed he is transformed into the first superhero from New Jersey. His tromatrons force him to destroy that which is evil and enables him to clean up the streets for the good people of Tromaville.

Toxie, as our hero has been called, has been surprisingly successful. There has been a string of sequels, a Saturday morning cartoon adaptation, and even a stage musical based on "The Toxic Avenger". He has become the face of Troma; kinda like Mickey Mouse is for Disney.

"And you can tell all your scum friends that things are gonna change in this town. I'm not just another pretty face."
8. Which 1971 Stanley Kubrick film stars Malcolm McDowell and takes place in a dystopian future England?

Answer: A Clockwork Orange

Alex and his droogs (friends) form a gang that robs and rapes and kills, not for profit but for fun. When Alex's droogs turn on him, he winds up in prison. He signs up for a supposed cure for violence. It's more like a brainwashing. The treatment makes it impossible for him to initiate violence, but leaves him helpless to defend himself when he meets up with the people he hurt in the past.

The original novel by Anthony Burgess had 21 chapters. The final chapter has Alex maturing and turning his back on his "ultra violent" ways. When it was imported to the U.S. American editors insisted on the removal of the final chapter. It was believed that a sinister ending would seem more realistic and appealing to American readers. The final chapter wasn't reinserted until 1986. Stanley Kubrick's screenplay also omits this final scene. It is unknown if Kubrick was aware of the 21st chapter or not.

"Cut out this clever talk about Millicents. Just because the police haven't picked you up lately doesn't, as you very well know, mean that you've not been up to some nastiness. That was a bit of a nastiness last night, yes? Some very extreme nastiness, yes? A few of a certain Billy Boy's friends were ambulanced off late, yes. Your name was mentioned. The words got through to me by the usual channels. Certain friends of yours were named also. Oh, nobody can prove anything about anybody, as usual. But I'm warning you, little Alex, being a good friend to you, as always, the one man in this sore and sick community who wants to save you from yourself."
9. Which comedy that takes place in Faber College and has been called the granddaddy of slob comedies?

Answer: Animal House

The party hardy slobs of Delta house fraternity take on the snobs of Omega house. We can all guess who wins.

The president of Universal Pictures went virtually apoplectic over the Dexter Lake Club scene. He felt it was so blatantly racist that it would cause riots in the theaters and demanded its removal. Director John Landis screened the film for Richard Pryor. Pryor was, at the time, possibly the most popular comedian in America. Pryor was delighted by the movie and with his endorsement the scene stayed as it was.

"Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?"
10. What crime drama features Samuel L Jackson and John Travolta arguing over the meaning of foot massages?

Answer: Pulp Fiction

Several stories involving such seemingly diverse characters as two hit men, a boxer, a mob boss, a violence obsessed cabbie, three very strange men in a pawn shop, a drug dealer, several scared kids, a couple working as stick up artists and some guy known as the Wolf clash on one day in LA. The story is shown in a nonlinear timeline and contains some of the sharpest dialogue ever written.

There are many theories as to what's really in the mysterious briefcase. The best is that it holds Marcellus Wallace's (Ving Rhames) soul. The first shot of Wallace shows an adhesive bandage on the back of his head. It's been suggested that the bandage covers the spot where his soul was removed when it was sold to the devil. Now Wallace is desperate to get it back. No explanation seems to be given for how the soul got away from the devil and into the case. Tarantino has stated that he originally considered having the case contain stolen diamonds He already used stolen diamonds in "Reservoir Dogs" he didn't want to appear repetitious, so he left the contents ambiguous. The briefcase is really a prime example of a McGuffin.

"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee."
