The song that Adam Sandler chose to include in his film, was "Running With the Devil" from Van Halen's 1978 album, "Van Halen". Sandler chose the song, because he felt that it fit in with the movie's atmosphere. The use of the song was even comedic, seeing as the devil was, in fact, Nicky's father.

Outraged by what they were told, Adrian and Cassius stormed out of the underworld, blocking the gateway, and leaving their father to deteriorate. It was then up to Nicky to go to Earth and get his brothers back to the underworld before his father died.

The flask's purpose was to capture Nicky's brothers, by sucking up their souls. Cassius, Nicky's strong but unintelligent brother, was the first to be caught. He was fooled into thinking that there was some 'Secret Devil Juice' in there. Nicky and Adrian were then caught in the flask together. Both escaped initially, but with the help of Ozzy Osbourne, Adrian was put back into the flask...permanently.

He was then fooled, by Nicky, into thinking that the flask Nicky had was filled with 'Super Devil Juice'.

Nicky died a total of six times in the film. The first time Nicky was killed, was when he got out of the hole to Earth. A train hit him and killed him. The second time he was killed was after he ate lunch and tried to cross the street. A truck took his life.

The third time he died, was also due to a truck. That time, however, his brother Adrian had taken control of his body and moved him into the path of an oncoming truck. The fourth time he died, was when he asked to be killed by his roommate, Todd. Todd drowned Nicky in his bathtub.

The fifth time he died was again due to a train. He died trying to save Valerie's life. The final time that he died was when he wanted to go back to the underworld with the full flask. Valerie, dropped a heavy rock on Nicky's head.

Chubbs was a golfer, played by Carl Weathers in both films. Although Chubbs had been a golfer in "Happy Gilmore", he was the dance instructor of heaven in the film. The character was unchanged, as he stuck by his old motto and applied it to the art of dancing. His motto was, "It's all in the hips".

According to Nicky's mother, he was given the orb by god so that he would use it when the situation required it. Little did anyone know that the orb would manifest Ozzy Osbourne. It did accomplish its purpose, however, seeing as it stopped the evil on Earth.

After Adrian turned into a bat, Nicky decided to use the angelic orb, which his mother gave to him, to stop Adrian. Out of the orb, came the "Dark Prince" himself, Ozzy Osbourne. As Adrian flew towards Ozzy, Adrian was caught and had his head bitten off and put into the flask.
