The MacArthur speech was about coming home from Korea and retiring. The quote from Dwight D. Eisenhower read, "I will go to Korea."

As quoted by Trapper while playing poker. Many quotes were lost in the shuffle in scenes with many people. This was a concept Robert Altman wanted to use often. It added even more to the chaos that is war.

We discovered Me Lay in Tokyo. He was found in the operating room when Hawkeye and Trapper operated on the Senator's son.

This was a quote from the visit to Tokyo. It was used by both Trapper and Hawkeye with various members of the staff in the Tokyo hospital. It was used when anyone asked who they were and what they were doing there.
9. What was Trapper's real name?

Answer: John McIntyre

We learned this after Hawkeye figured out who Trapper was when he intercepted a pass thrown by Trapper. They played football against one another in college.

Answer: Oriental gong
