Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Matthew accompanies Kelly and Danielle to a strip club and the trio find out more about each other, including the fact that Kelly and Danielle used to go out. The following day, Kelly shows up at Matthew's high school, and accompanies Matthew to the bank where he discovers that Matthew has raised how much money for "Operation Get Samnang"?

Answer: $25,000

"Operation Get Samnang" was mentioned in the gym scene at the start of the movie, when Student Council President Matthew advised the school that they had raised the $25,000 so they could now bring the genius Samnang out of Cambodia to study at their high school.

This information is re-iterated during the bank scene, where Matthew advises the teller, Jeannie, that Kelly is his Student Advisor, to which Kelly responds, "Just here to make sure everything is up to par" before complimenting Jeannie on her earrings and striking up conversation with her.
2. Later that day, Matthew sees Danielle and Kelly loading up Danielle's car. Where are the two of them heading?

Answer: Las Vegas

Matthew drops his bag, runs towards the car and enquires "Where are you guys going?", to which Kelly replies, "Vegas baby, we've got the convention", referring to the Adult Entertainment Expo that is held annually in Las Vegas. Matthew asks Danielle, "So that's it, you're just going back?", and Danielle replies, "I don't belong here ... this is what I am".
3. Matthew decides to go after Danielle, and is accompanied by his faithful friends Eli and Klitz. Whilst at the convention, they discover that Danielle's porn star name is what?

Answer: Athena

As the boys enter the convention, they see a huge poster showing Danielle as Athena alongside two other porn stars, April and Ferrari, and we hear the crowd calling out to "Athena" for photos and autographs.
4. How does Matthew convince Danielle to give up her life as a porn star and come back to him?

Answer: He gives her the picture she drew in the diner during their first trip out together

Just before leaving the convention, Matthew walks up to Danielle, gives her the picture of a girl that she drew in the diner during their first trip out together, says "I just want to let you know, I know who you really are, and you're better than this".

He then looks over at Kelly, who gives him a wry smirk, before walking out and travelling home with Eli and Klitz. His tactic clearly works, as in the next scene, Matthew hears a knock on his bedroom door, turns round, and sees Danielle standing there with her car keys in hand as she offers to give him a lift to school.
5. Furious that Matthew has "stolen" Danielle from him, and cost him money as she didn't show up on set for a shoot, Kelly turns up at Matthew's school, marches him out of class, and tells him that "now you're doing something for me". What is the "something" that Kelly wants Matthew to do?

Answer: Steal a trophy from the home of his rival, Hugo Posh

As the pair walk towards the house of Hugo Posh, Kelly tells Matthew, "We used to be partners a long time ago. One day I had this killer idea to make films set in real-life situations, you know, real-world porn. I tell the idea to Hugo, and he says he'll think about it, and what does [he] do, he takes my best girls, starts his own company with my idea and the guy make millions". Kelly is clearly upset that Hugo has received the accolades that Kelly thinks should be his, and that the trophy he is looking to steal should rightfully be his. Matthew agrees to help, as long as Kelly subsequently leaves him and Danielle alone, but as he grabs the trophy, Hugo's pet parrot squawks, waking Hugo up and causing Matthew to run from the house, trophy in hand. Furthermore, Matthew has to quickly dive down an embankment to hide from an approaching cop car, as Kelly called them to report a robbery in order to set Matthew up.
6. During the scholarship banquet, Matthew breaks from his original scholarship speech, as one of his rivals has already used the JFK quote Matthew was going to use, and instead decides to ad-lib on what "moral fiber" means to him. What phrase does he "borrow" from Kelly to encapsulate what he believes moral fiber is all about?

Answer: The juice is worth the squeeze

A few scenes earlier, whilst sat in Kelly's car, Kelly vents his frustration that he has lost Danielle by delivering a few punches to Matthew's head. He then says "You want to be president? Let me tell you the first rule of politics - always know if the juice is worth the squeeze. Do you know what that means? It means you don't steal my girl unless you're willing to accept the consequences". Having vented his frustrations, he then apologises, and offers Matthew a pill to reduce the pain of his punches ... a pill we later find out is ecstasy, which, in a weird twist of fate, provides Matthew with the courage to stray from his carefully planned scholarship speech and give the heartfelt ad-lib that receives a standing ovation from the invited guests.
7. Despite his well-received speech, the scholarship is awarded to one of Matthew's rivals. As if that wasn't bad enough, when he goes to the bank to withdraw the "Operation get Samnang" money, he discovers that Kelly (posing as his Student Adviser) has already withdrawn all of the money. He initially goes to Danielle, where they come up with an idea to quickly make the money that has been stolen from them. He then goes to see Eli and Klitz to get their buy-in. Eli is 100% up for it, however Klitz needs some persuading. Eli convinces Klitz to help by saying that the three of them are a WHAT?

Answer: Tripod

Eli's passion for film-making causes him to make use of the tripod analogy as he explains, "if you kick out one of our legs, then we all fall". His words clearly resonate with Matthew as well, as at the end of the movie, we hear Matthew finally completing his yearbook memory thus - "I will always remember ... the three legs of the tripod".
8. The three friends and Danielle, with the help of Danielle's ex-colleagues April and Ferrari, put their plan of making a sex ed film shot in a real-life situation into action at the high school prom. All seems to be going smoothly until it appears that the key scene of "putting a condom on a real person" is looking like it will be unable to be shot. Who steps in to save the day?

Answer: Klitz

The friends had originally enlisted the "cool kids", Hunter, Troy and Derek, into being part of the film; however, the "putting a condom on a real person" scene is in jeopardy as Derek is, in Klitz's words, "strong or, erm, firm". It looks like Matthew is going to step up and sort out his own mess, however when he sees Danielle's lipstick mark on his hand, he realises he can't go through with it. Remembering Eli's encouraging words from earlier in the movie, Klitz steps up and ends up being the hero of the hour.
9. What is the title of the video that the friends put together?

Answer: Adult Education

We see Matthew doing the (very short) walk of shame home from the house next door the morning after prom. He receives a call from Eli informing him that the tape they made has gone. When he gets indoors, he is shocked to see that Kelly is there, and he is holding a video tape, presumably the one they made the night before. Kelly threatens to show Matthew's parents and Mr Salinger the tape unless Matthew gives him his half of the proceeds, and when Matthew refuses, Kelly follows through his his threat.

After a brief introduction from April and Ferrari, in which they advise us that this is not a "raunchy porn video", and that "you're not going to see sex, you're going to see sex education". The video then display a screen saying "The Eli Experience presents", followed by a subsequent screen that shows the title of the film "Adult Education" along with its subtitle "Sex Education for the 21st Century".
10. In the closing montage, we see Kelly open a box of WHAT that Matthew has sent him?

Answer: Cigars

Complete with a note saying "The juice was worth the squeeze", this is a nice touch from Matthew, subtly thanking his "mentor" for his "help" in what he has achieved. These achievements are summed up in the final few shots of the movie as we see Matthew driving his brand new BMW into Georgetown, with his voice in the background saying, "My own scholarship to Georgetown", followed by him saying, "And of course, I'll never forget the girl next door", and we see him walking over to Danielle, who is stood next to her car, with the two embracing to end the movie.
