Non-Credit Stuff During the Movie Credits Quiz

Just before the end of the movie, there's a note about what each character went on to do after graduation, including a note about Bluto becoming Senator John Blutarsky. Babs is identified as a tour guide at Universal Studios, which made the film. Just for fun, a note about asking for her when touring the studio was thrown in at the end of the credits.

After he escapes the dog in Ferris' back yard, a school bus driver sees him walking down the street and gives him a lift, as the shocked students on the bus look on. There's also a funny moment at the very end of the credits, as Ferris sees the camera still on, and tells the audience to go home.

In addition to the characters from the movie giving their ideas on what to name the baby, several other people suggest names, including members of the cast from "Ferris Bueller's Day Off". Matthew Broderick makes his suggestions while wearing the same outfit he wore during that movie.

Kilmer performed the song during the movie before an adoring crowd that included Dyan Cannon. In the middle of the credits, there's a second performance of the song, complete with the same background singers.

At the start of the credits, Holmes' carriage is shown, but they switch to another carriage traveling through the mountains part way through. The person's face isn't shown until the very end of the credits, where he signs his name as Moriarty, and they show Rathe's face, complete with a scar from the fight with Holmes.

Warner Brothers was the studio behind the sequel. While the credits are running, there's an ongoing commentary from some of the better known animated characters from the WB archives, most notably Daffy Duck.

Howard Jarvis was a key player in the Proposition 13 anti tax drive in California that cut property taxes during the late 70's. As to why his character would wait in a taxi with no driver for the length of time it takes to fly from LA to Chicago, it makes just as much sense as everything else in this hilarious movie.

Surely you remember the words, if you were a kid in the '60s. "Spider-Man. Spider-Man. Does whatever a spider can". I thought that playing the original 1960s era cartoon theme was a nice tribute to the series.

It was actually Death who's solo career came apart over the Lip-Sync scandal. Other headlines involved the stock market almost crashing over a rumor of the band breaking up, and the band playing a 3 night gig at the Grand Canyon.

"Dwayne's Underworld" was one of the shows that John Ritter's character ended up on during his trip to a TV network created to entertain the Devil.
