"The Bourne Ultimatum": An Eye For Detail Quiz

"Bourne, I can see the entrance from here. If I go now, I can make it." -Simon Ross to Jason

One day while Jason is reading the newspaper, he finds an article written about him by a London reporter named Simon Ross. Curious about this man, Jason goes to London and tells Ross to meet him at Waterloo Station, where they learn that the CIA is after Ross as well. Using his brilliant mind and skill, Jason guides Ross through the station until they are cornered by a group of CIA agents in the back of one of the stores. Jason manages to knock them all out, but not before being spotted on a surveillance camera. Paz, a new CIA assassin from the Blackbriar program, is sent after Jason and Ross and uses a moving billboard for cover to set up his rifle. Jason notices all the CCTV cameras moving away from the area around the billboard and the door where Ross is still hiding. He knows something is wrong, but Ross fails to listen to him and gets shot.

The MasterCard logo is visible in the upper right hand corner of the billboard right after Jason can see Paz. You'll see it when the billboard is an orange-gold color.

"Bourne's last confirmed location was Moscow, six weeks ago." -Ezra Kramer to Pam Landy

"The Bourne Ultimatum" picks up about ten minutes after "Supremacy" left off. Jason is still in Moscow, now with the police after him. He leads them to a train station and onto a train, but jumps off to buy some time while they're still aboard. He then spots a medical clinic and goes inside to treat his gunshot wound, from when Kirill shot him earlier in the storyline. When two police officers find him there, he has mercy on them and tells one that they're not the ones that he's fighting with. After that, he escapes and we don't know what happens until he travels to London six weeks later.

Did you know that this Moscow scene was actually filmed in Berlin? It was too cold in Moscow and the camera film would have frozen inside the cameras. These train stations are all real and are four of eight major stations in Moscow today. The dispatcher says that Jason is "heading away from Kievsky train station."

"It's an early Treadstone identity registered to Jason Bourne, but he never used it, and it never went to the grid." -Tom Cronin to Pam Landy

Jason knows that Pam Landy is trying to communicate with him, and travels to New York using his Brazilian passport. When it comes up on the CIA computers, Tom and Pam believe that Jason is sending them a message, letting them know that he's still alive and there in the city.

Although this doesn't have much to do with the movie, it's still an interesting piece of information. The birthday is visible when Pam comes into Tom's office and he shows her the passport information on his computer. We see it when the camera zooms in on the passport.

"Ray, Ross is easy. We want the source." -Noah Vosen to Ray Wills

Ray Wills works along side Noah Vosen, the man heading up the operation searching for Jason Bourne. Ray and his team aren't as skilled as Noah or Pam Landy would have liked, but they are loyal all the way, even when they aren't so sure whose side they're on anymore.

There is only one instance that I found where someone actually calls Wills by his first name. It is right after Vosen arrives at the CIA building in New York, and Wills is walking beside him, telling him what they know about Simon Ross. It's easier to spot using subtitles.

"His location is being blocked by the firewall." -Nicky to Jason

Were you watching as she and Jason are trying to hack into the CIA database to find Daniels? Jason meets up with Nicky, the girl responsible for monitoring his mental health while he was still with Treadstone. She decides to help him, and the two of them travel to Morocco to find Neil Daniels, a man who knows all about Jason and the training he went through. However, by the time they arrive, the CIA is also after Daniels because he is the one who gave information to Simon Ross for his newspaper articles. Nicky and Jason log into the CIA database from their hotel, to try to find him, and realize that he's been targeted by one of the Blackbriar assassins, Desh.

Nicky uses her laptop to try to access the CIA database. She logs on using her first initial and her last name, all in caps.

"They'll just get one of the operatives to terminate him." -Nicky to Jason

Desh is the "asset" based in Casablanca. He travels to Tangier to find Daniels, but doesn't quite complete his mission before Jason catches up to him. When Desh detonates Daniels's car, Jason is knocked out for a short period of time, giving Desh time to escape. The CIA gives him orders to kill Nicky and Jason, so he goes to find Nicky first. After a suspenseful chase through the crowded city streets and across the rooftops, Jason finds Nicky and Desh and manages to do away with the assassin.

Nicky is able to access Desh's profile on her computer. There is a photo of him, along with his other personal information. His name is written above the photo.

"You didn't even blink, Jason. You just handed me these." -Albert Hirsch to Jason

Jason, or David Webb, was a captain in the army before he became an assassin. After breaking into Noah Vosen's office, he finds the name and location of the building where his Treadstone training took place. He goes there, searching out Dr. Albert Hirsch, who oversaw the program. After talking for a few minutes, everything begins to come back and Jason remembers who he was.

After Dr. Hirsch hands Jason his dog tags, Jason turns them over in his hand and examines them. He holds one up so that we can read what it says and we see that he was Catholic.

"SRD is at 415 E. 71st Street. She just gave him the training facility!" -Noah Vosen to Ray Wills

Jason is able to use the access card that he stole from Vosen's safe to get through the building. After first contacting Pam Landy, telling her to meet him at Tudor City, Jason waits outside the CIA building until all of the agents (including Vosen) have gone to trap him. While they are gone, he goes inside and begins looking through the files about himself in Vosen's office. He takes a fingerprint from the phone and uses a tape recorder to capture Vosen's voice so he can open the safe. Inside, he finds more files and an access card to the training facility. So smart!

When Jason takes the files out of the safe, he pauses for a moment, giving us time to see the access card. It reads "Johnston Medical Clinic" and has a bar code on it.

"No more getting the bad guys caught in our sights then watching them escape while we wait for someone in Washington to issue the order." -Noah Vosen to Pam Landy

Pam isn't very impressed with the way Vosen is running this program. In his mind, he has the power to kill whoever they want, whenever they want. She doesn't think this is the right thing to do, which is the reason that she decides to start helping Jason.

Pam didn't really know what she was getting herself into. When she began to wonder whose side Vosen was really on, she went into his office and demanded to know what Blackbriar really was. He explained that it began as a surveillance program, but had turned into "the umbrella program for all of the black-ops."

"However, after a three-day search, Webb's body has yet to be found." -News reporter

After leaving Dr. Hirsch, Jason is pursued by the CIA, onto the roof of the building where Paz finally corners him at gunpoint. Jason asks him if he even knows why he is supposed to kill him, and the wheels start turning in Paz's head. Without even flinching, Jason turns his back and walks to the edge of the roof. Just as he jumps, Paz lowers his gun but Noah Vosen appears and squeezes off a shot. Jason falls into the East River below, not moving.

Later on, the story is being covered on the news at a cafe where Nicky is sitting. When she hears that Jason's body hasn't been found after three days, she knows that he's still alive.
