Answer: Porky's

"Porky's" was released in 1982, and has grossed over $109.5 Million. Although "Men With Brooms" made Canadian history in March 2002, by registering over $1 Million in its opening weekend, its total is at $4.24 Million.

Answer: The Hanging Garden

"The Hanging Garden" by director/writer Thom Fitzgerald won in 1997. Atom Egoyan's "The Sweet Hereafter" was nominated for two Academy Awards, and controversial director, David Cronenberg's "Spider" won Best Canadian Feature Film at the 2002 Toronto International Film Festival.

Answer: Mary Pickford

Mary Pickford won the Best Actress Oscar at the 1930 Academy Awards for "Coquette". Mary Pickford was born as Gladys Smith on April 8, 1892 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and became America's first sweetheart.

Fab Filippo is one of my favourite actors. You can see him in seasons 2 and 3 of "Queer as Folk" as Ethan Gold, and I heartily recommend "Waydowntown" a very funny Canadian movie. I am always eagerly anticipating his next projects, such as "Hollywood North", which should be released sometime in 2003.
