The Little Things in "Madagascar" Quiz

Answer: Surprise

The first word was "Surprise," which Alex said when he popped up into Marty's daydream. The surprise was to wish Marty a happy 10th birthday. This startled Marty, making him topple backwards off of his treadmill.

The bow was a simple red, on top of an Alex snow globe. Apparently, Alex was obsessed with himself, since the only things he had gotten Marty had his face on them.

Answer: Stanford Local

Marty went to Grand Central Station and was trying to decide which train to take. Apparently, he missed the Express and was going to take the Stanford Local. This was when the other zoo animals came in and ruined it for him.

Answer: Fruit

Gloria got fruit, Melman got medicine, Marty got grass, and Alex got steak. Alex was the only one who got fish, and only near the end of the movie. When Gloria was being pampered, she saw the fruit and said, "This is the life." There were many different kinds of fruit, including pineapple and grapes.

When the zoo animals got onto the boat, Alex said, "By the time we get back to New York, it'll be the middle of winter. So I was thinking, why rush? Maybe we could make a few side stops along the way." That gets them excited and they start naming off places that they would like to go. Marty wanted to go to Paris, Gloria wanted Fiji, and Melman wanted Canada.

The crowd clearly expressed that they wanted the best for Alex, and that was to let him go. Then, Alex got darted back to sleep and put on a ship. When Alex and Marty got in an argument, everyone got thrown off the ship and landed on Madagascar.

Kowalski was obviously the smartest of the penguins with general knowledge. He was taking notes when Skipper talked and was in charge of finding directions, so he was pretty smart. Private and Rico were useful, but not too bright, and Skipper is not a choice.

Alex said, "Is he like king of the guinea pigs," before the squirrels were even mentioned. Then they asked the lemurs where the people were, but the only people were dead ones hanging from a tree.

Answer: Wild Sweet Wild

The mat said "Wild Sweet Wild," but a sign on the door did say "No Soliciting."
Alex finally went over to the fun side once Melman and Gloria left and Marty convinced him. The hut was called Casa del Wild.

Answer: Stevie

It was quiet, but Julien did actually say "Go, Stevie, Go," not Phoebe. Stevie is a small, black and orange striped gecko, but he didn't do much in this movie. Then, Alex, Marty, Gloria, and Melman started to head back to New York. I say "started" because the boat was out of gas and they couldn't actually go anywhere.
