Chaney sat through nearly 5 hours of makeup to become the 'werewolf'. The 'fur' was Yak hair.

He played a vampire in 'Son Of Dracula' (1943), and played the Mummy in 'The Mummy's Tomb' (!941), 'The Mummy's Ghost' (1944), and 'The Mummy's Curse' (1944).
