The Hammer has a hammer head bolted to his hand. The Torn Prince has a baseball bat. The Great Child has an axe, but the Jackal uses his sharp fingernails to claw wildly at his victims. The Jackal has no weapon.

Kalina briefly mentions that the Jackal was the sign of Hell's Winter when she was reading off the names of the ghosts from the book.
