Upon hearing Speedman say, "Please don't hurt me," voiced the same as his character in "Simple Jack," the leader realizes who Speedman is. Tran, the leader, declares, "You are Simple Jack." Speedman, somewhat taken aback, inquires, "You saw "Simple Jack?" Tran replies, "We love the tale of this man, Simple Jack." Tran decides to hold Speedman for ransom.

Grossman is harshly indignant. He lambasts the caller and suggests crude alternatives to paying any ransom. The prospect of Speedman being executed does not faze Grossman. He brazenly tells Tru, "Go to town, man. Go to town!" After he hangs up, Grossman goes on to say that, "We don't negotiate with terrorists." Peck thinks Grossman is insane. Peck exclaims, "They're gonna kill him!" Grossman staring impassively says, "And we'll weep for him, in the press."

Answer: Tropic Blunder

The title for the film has been changed to: "Tropic Blunder," depicted to be, "The True Story Behind the Making of the Most Expensive Fake True Story Ever." Tugg Speedman wins the Oscar for Best Actor. The actual film credits roll as Les Grossman performs his ridiculously hilarious dance.
