Jeremy Melton is the geek who asks all the girls to dance at their high school prom. Dorothy is the only one to say yes. Everyone thinks that the killer is Jeremy because he hates the girls for embarrassing him at high school. In the movie, the part of Jeremy Melton is played by actor Joel Palmer.

Shelley is an employee at the local morgue, and is examining a corpse. She is interupted many times and decides to take a look around. The killer chases her around and she hides in a body bag. The killer finds her and cuts open her neck.

While Paige is in the hot tub she hears something, so she gets out to look around. She is then hit on the head and falls into the hot tub. The killer puts the cover on the hot tub and locks it. Paige wakes up and can still breath, the killer then grabs a drill and starts to drill into the tub. He hits paiges arm and she bleeds to death.

At the party Ruthie sneaks into Campbell's room and takes the watch that Dorothy gave him. He had taken things from her, and so she wanted revenge.

For Valentine's day Adam gets Kate a present but Kate doesn't have one for Adam. So she writes a note whish says "IOU TLC". This means "I owe you tender love and care".

During the party Kate goes outside to get some air. While she is out she looks into the pond, to see the note she gave to Adam and the severed head of the detective. She runs in to tell Dorothy.

Adam drinks and so Kate is annoyed with him. He keeps trying to hug her and so Kate hits him over the head with a bottle of champagne. Afterwards she runs off.

Once Kate hit Adam over the head, she runs away. While she wanders the house she goes outside. Where she sees Paige dead in the hot tub. Paige is trapped inside the hot tub. The killer put the cover on it, and started drilling. Paige died from drowning and blood loss.

While Kate is running away from Adam she bumps into Dorothy in the killer's costume. They fall down the stairs. In the process they are both knocked out for a while when they hit the bottom of the stairs.

After the supposed killer falls down the stairs he/she wakes up and is shot by Adam. After Adam goes to see if Kate is ok he pulls of the cupid mask to see Dorothy who is not the real killer. The cupid mask was what the killer wore to hide his or her identity.

At the end of the movie Adam hugs Kate, and he bleeds from the nose. We know he is the killer because the killer bleeds from the nose as well. We know this because all through the film, after the killer murders we see blood coming from his/her nose.
