Answer: Best Actor in a Leading Role

"Schindler's List" (1993) was the true story of how one German factory owner saved over 1000 Jewish lives during the reign of the Nazi regime. Answer: The Godfather

Brando won his Oscar for "The Godfather" (1972), set just after the end of the Second World War. Brando portrayed the character Don Vito Corleone - the head of the New York Mafia "Family". Interestingly, he refused to both accept the award, and attend the ceremony, on the grounds that he felt that Hollywood's film making industry was discriminating against Native American people. The other possible answers were films where Brando received a nomination only.
