Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. By day, I was a wealthy philanthropist. By night, I fought crime. Who played me?

Answer: Val Kilmer

Kilmer, born on December 31st, 1959 in Los Angeles, California, was cast as Bruce Wayne/Batman. Bruce was a wealthy philanthropist who liked to get involved in many charitable deeds but it was at nighttime that he would transform into Batman to fight crime. Batman's first assignment in this film was to respond to a bank robbery which was committed by his enemy, Two Face.

In another scene, Bruce Wayne noticed a riddle which had to do with numbers and he managed to solve the riddle. In many scenes in the movie, Bruce interacted with a young man named Dick Grayson who wanted to help fight crime with him. Bruce was initially reluctant to let Dick join him in crime-fighting but he eventually relented and Dick then became Robin.

In one major scene, Bruce was on a date with Dr. Chase Meridian at Wayne Manor when Two Face and The Riddler arrived with their goons.

They destroyed the home and kidnapped Chase, which left Bruce devastated. Batman went to The Riddler's lair and saw that both he and Two Face were holding Chase and Robin captive. Batman managed to overpower the two and rescue both Chase and Robin.

In Bruce's final scene, he visited The Riddler at Arkham Asylum and heard The Riddler claim that he was Batman. Kilmer starred in the films "Top Gun", "The Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call-New Orleans" and "The Saint".
2. I was a psychiatrist. Who played me?

Answer: Nicole Kidman

Kidman, born in 1967 in Honolulu, Hawaii, portrayed Dr. Chase Meridian. Chase was first seen talking to Commissioner Gordon right outside the bank which Two Face and his goons were robbing. Shortly after this, Batman arrived and came face to face with Chase and she told him he made a great entrance. Commissioner Gordon briefed Batman on what was going on and mentioned they did not expect this to happen but Chase said they should have.

She stated that it was the second anniversary of when Batman caught Two Face trying to rob the same bank. Commissioner Gordon then informed Batman that he asked Dr. Chase Meridian to consult with him about Two Face since she was a psychiatrist who specialized in multiple personality disorders. Batman then stated he read Chase's work and felt she gave good insight but was somewhat naïve.

In other scenes, Chase befriended Bruce Wayne and the two of them soon became attracted to one another. Kidman had roles in the films "Moulin Rouge!", "Far and Away" and "The Others".

In 2003, she won an Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for the film "The Hours". Other Oscar nominees for Best Actress in a Leading Role that year were Renee Zellweger for "Chicago", Julianne Moore for "Far from Heaven", Salma Hayek for "Frida" and Diane Lane for "Unfaithful".
3. I liked to flip a coin. Who played me?

Answer: Tommy Lee Jones

Jones, a native of San Saba, Texas, played Two Face. Two Face was first seen robbing a bank in the movie and he also flipped a coin while telling one of his hostages that he probably was counting on Batman to save him. The hostage, a bank guard, asked Two Face if he was going to kill him so Two Face responded that he may or may not do it. Two Face then started to talk to the guard about how sometimes one man was born a hero and his brother was born a coward. Two Face then flipped a coin to determine if he would kill the guard and it was after the coin landed on his hand that Two Face decided not to kill him. Two Face then had a couple of his goons take the guard and lock him in one of the bank's vaults. Shortly after this, Batman arrived on the scene and did battle with Two Face but Two Face managed to escape. Midway through the movie, Two Face teamed up with The Riddler to go up against Batman.

In Two Face's final scene, he flipped his coin and Batman threw up many coins as well, which caused Two Face to lose his balance while trying to catch them all and he fell into a vat of water. Two Face subsequently drowned. Jones was seen in the films "No Country for Old Men", "The Fugitive" and "Under Siege".

In 2008, he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor in a Leading Role for the film "In the Valley of Elah", but lost to Daniel Day-Lewis for "There Will Be Blood". Other Oscar nominees for Best Actor in a Leading Role that year were Viggo Mortensen for "Eastern Promises", George Clooney for "Michael Clayton" and Johnny Depp for "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street".

Answer: Jim Carrey

Dr. Nygma worked at Wayne Enterprises and was first seen introducing himself to Bruce while he was at his business and he informed Bruce that he personally hired him. Dr. Nygma told Bruce that he had never actually met him but Bruce's name was on the hiring slip when he got his job at Wayne Enterprises. Edward told Bruce that he considered him his idol. Bruce then asked Edward what was on his mind so Edward responded that brainwaves were on his mind and everyone else's. Edward stated that the future of Wayne Enterprises was brainwaves and then he ran off. Midway through the movie, Edward came up with the nickname The Riddler and went to Two Face's hideout one day to propose to him that they battle Batman. Two Face told The Riddler that he liked that idea. Throughout the movie, The Riddler used riddles as a way to lure Batman to come find him and Two Face. Near the end of the movie, The Riddler told Dr. Chase Meridian, who by this time had been kidnapped, that the lighted up jacket she saw him wearing was one he wore when he jogged at night. Carrey portrayed characters in the movies "Dumb and Dumber", "The Mask" and "Lemony Snicket's a Series of Unfortunate Events".

Margaret then changed the subject and informed Bruce that Gossip Gerty had called a record 32 times to inquire on who Bruce would be taking to a charity event. Bruce told Margaret that he would let her know as soon as he knew. The meal Spice had prepared for Two Face consisted of a cooked boar with a strong glass of alcohol. Spice then let out a maniacal laugh while Two Face pondered over what to eat first.
