Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. I was nicknamed "The Godfather". Who played me?

Answer: Luke Wilson

Wilson, born on September 21st, 1971 in Dallas, Texas, was cast as Mitch Martin. Mitch worked at a law firm as a real estate attorney and purchased a house by his alma mater, Harrison University, right after he broke up with his girlfriend, Heidi. Mitch and his two friends, Bernard and Frank, decided to start a fraternity and eventually got a charter from Harrison University to do this.

It is important to note that not all members of the fraternity were enrolled at the college. Mitch, Bernard and Frank organized a couple of activities which prospective members had to accomplish in order to be considered for the fraternity.

They all got done making their choices and had a pretty good sized fraternity. Midway through the movie, one of the Deans at Harrison University mentioned that their charter had been revoked but Mitch did some research and stated they could still keep the fraternity active.

He mentioned that everyone would participate in a review where they would take part in activities for four areas: Debate, Team Spirit, Academics and Athletics.

There was one activity for each area and every member of the fraternity had to participate in at least one of the activities. Mitch was seen participating in the activities on Team Spirit and Academics. Wilson had roles in the films "Charlie's Angels", "Legally Blonde" and "The Royal Tenenbaums".
2. I was the daughter of Mitch's boss. Who played me?

Answer: Elisha Cuthbert

Cuthbert portrayed Darcie. Darcie was the daughter of Mitch's boss and she befriended Mitch in the movie. There was one scene when Darcie told Mitch that she was 18 years of age but she was actually underage. Darcie and Mitch slept together one night and Mitch could not believe he made love to her. Midway through the movie, Mitch learned that Darcie was his boss's daughter. Near the end of the movie, Darcie spoke to Mitch and told him there was nothing to worry about, as she would ensure her father would not find out about their night together. Cuthbert starred in the movies "Time at the Top", "Airspeed" and "Dancing on the Moon".
3. My wife and I were seen in marriage counseling. Who played me?

Answer: Will Ferrell

Ferrell, a native of Irvine, California, played Frank Ricard. Frank worked as a disc jockey and was seen getting married at the beginning of the movie. Frank got involved in a fraternity with Mitch and Bernard and the two of them organized many parties there.

At one party in particular, Frank freaked many of the guests out when he suggested they do something gross. Nobody wanted to do this with Frank so he decided to do it on his own. Frank's involvement with the fraternity put a rift in his marriage with his wife and they were seen in marriage counseling. Frank mentioned at the session that he and his wife went to The Olive Garden for dinner one night and he imagined what their waitress would look like in sexy clothing. Later on in the film, after a member of the fraternity died, Frank's wife told him at the funeral that she wanted a divorce. Frank decided not to fight her on it and they proceeded with the divorce. During the review, Frank was seen participating in all four of the activities. Ferrell guest starred on the TV series "30 Rock", "The Guardian" and "Grace under Fire".
4. I was upset with my husband when he did something obscene in the middle of town. Who played me?

Answer: Perrey Reeves

Reeves, born in 1970 in New York City, portrayed Marissa Jones. Marissa was engaged to Frank and the two of them got married at the beginning of the movie. Marissa scolded Frank and told him to get in the car.

In one scene, Frank was seen driving in his car and he left a voicemail for Marissa and suggested they go out sometime to eat. During their first marriage therapy session, Marissa looked annoyed when Frank mentioned how attracted he was to a waitress who serviced them at The Olive Garden one evening. Marissa was seen with Frank at Joseph "Blue" Palasky's funeral, a member of the fraternity. Reeves had guest starring stints on the TV shows "Private Practice", "Castle" and "Ghost Whisperer".
5. I mentioned to a girl one night that I could not make out with her since I was married. Who played me?

Answer: Vince Vaughn

Vaughn, born on March 28th, 1970 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, was cast as Bernard Campbell. Bernard was seen as a groomsman at Frank and Marissa's wedding and he mentioned to Frank while Marissa walked up the aisle that his life would get much worse after he got married. Bernard was seen looking over at his wife and two sons who were guests at the wedding.

There were a couple of times in the movie when Bernard asked his older son, Max, to put his hands over his ears right before he would say a cuss word. During one of the many parties Bernard attended which were sponsored by the fraternity, a young girl came on to him but he showed her his wedding band and said he could not cheat on his wife. During the review, Bernard participated in the Academics, Team Spirit and Athletics events. Vaughn portrayed characters in the films "Domestic Disturbance", "The Lost World: Jurassic Park" and "Clay Pigeons".
6. I disliked it when Mitch told me that he saw my boyfriend make out with another woman at Max's birthday party. Who played me?

Pompeo, a native of Everett, Massachusetts, played Nicole. Nicole attended Frank and Marissa's wedding and it was there that she ran into Mitch. Mitch informed her that she was his high school crush and this flattered Nicole. Midway through the film, Nicole visited Mitch at his law office and he told her he wished her and her boyfriend, Mark, good luck with their relationship.

In a later scene, Mitch and Nicole went out to have some coffee and he told her that he saw Mark make out with a woman in his bathroom at Max's birthday party. Nicole blasted him for saying that about Mark and walked away from him.

In Nicole's final scene, she spoke to Mitch and informed him he was right about Mark and that she broke up with him. Pompeo guest starred on the TV series "Friends" and "Law and Order".

Answer: Craig Kilborn

Kilborn, born in 1962 in Kansas City, Missouri, had the minor role of Mark. Mark was Nicole's boyfriend and he was first seen at Max's birthday party when he approached Mitch and told him about a rumor he heard. He said he heard that Mitch started a fraternity but Mitch told him that was not the case.

At the party, Mitch went to use the restroom, opened the door and noticed Mark making out with someone other than Nicole. Mark told him he could have knocked and then the woman left the restroom. Mark told Mitch to not tell Nicole about what happened but Mitch did not confirm if he would tell her or not. Later on the in the film, Nicole told Mitch that she caught Mark with another woman and broke things off with him. Kilborn had roles in the movies "The Benchwarmers", "Full of It" and "Action Hero".
8. Dean Pritchard informed me that he would get me into Columbia Law School if I revoked the charter for Mitch's fraternity. Who played me?

Answer: Sara Tanaka

Tanaka, born on November 21st, 1978 in Huntington, New York, won the small role of Megan Huang. Megan was in charge of the group which approved charters for fraternities and sororities. One day, Dean Pritchard met with her out at the football field and informed her that she needed to revoke Mitch's fraternity's charter. Megan said there was no reason to and that she liked the fraternity's parties. Dean Pritchard then looked at some papers concerning Megan and how she expressed interest in attending Columbia Law School. Dean Pritchard's assistant, who was also there, lied about how Dean Pritchard had contacts at Columbia and Megan wondered if he was trying to bribe her. Dean Pritchard did not answer her. We found out later in the film that Megan did indeed revoke the charter to Mitch's fraternity.

She confronted Dean Pritchard about how she spoke to some people at Columbia Law School and that all of them said they had never heard of him. Megan told Dean Pritchard he had to do his part and get her into Columbia but Dean Pritchard told her he would not help her out with Columbia. Megan recorded the conversation she had with him and Dean Pritchard was eventually fired for bribery. Tanaka was in the films "Rushmore", "Race the Sun" and "Imaginary Heroes".
9. I did an impressive flip while using a springboard. Who played me?

Answer: Jerod Mixon

Mixon portrayed Weensie in "Old School". Weensie went to the pledge meeting to see if he could get into the fraternity and participated in the activity which determined who would become a member. Despite how Weensie was injured in the activity, he was accepted into the fraternity. Later on in the film, after the fraternity's charter was revoked, Dean Pritchard announced to members of the fraternity enrolled at Harrison University that they would be expelled. Weensie cried after hearing this news since he stated that he was the first one in his family to go to college.

He mentioned that his mother told him not to mess up or else she would harm him. During the review at the end of the film, Dean Pritchard announced during the Athletics portion that he would randomly select three participants to perform a certain task. Dean Pritchard selected Weensie to do a flip while using a springboard, a piece of equipment used in many gymnastics routines. Due to Weensie's size, he feared that he would be unable to do the flip. Weensie persevered and managed to do a flip using the springboard. Mixon guest starred on the TV shows "Scrubs", "Moesha" and "Malcolm and Eddie".
10. I informed the members of the fraternity that they did not pass their review. Who played me?

Answer: Jeremy Piven

Piven, a native of New York City, portrayed Dean Gordon Pritchard. Dean Pritchard went to school with Bernard, Frank and Mitch and he did not like any of the three. When Dean Pritchard went to Mitch's home one day, he informed him that the place was used to house a fraternity affiliated with Harrison University and he gave him an order which said he had to vacate the premises.

The order Dean Pritchard handed to Mitch gave him a specific time frame to leave the home. Mitch decided that he would get a charter affirmed to hold a fraternity at his house so he could stay there and his charter request was accepted, which upset Dean Pritchard.

After the fraternity's review was complete, they celebrated since they felt they passed it but Dean Pritchard said they did not pass their review. Mitch told Dean Pritchard that they got an overall score of 84 percent, which was a passing mark, and Dean Pritchard confirmed that score but claimed that one member of the fraternity got a total score of zero percent. Dean Pritchard stated that the score of zero percent brought them down to a non passing level. Mitch asked Dean Pritchard who the member was that he was speaking of and Dean Pritchard said it was Joseph "Blue" Palasky. Mitch said Joe died but Dean Pritchard said he was on the official roster and the non passing score stood.

When it was revealed that Dean Pritchard was involved in a bribery scandal, the college automatically renewed the fraternity's charter. Piven guest starred on the TV series "Will and Grace" and "Coach". In 2004, he originated the role of Ari Gold on the hit primetime series "Entourage".
