Answer: Dylan McDermott

McDermott, born on October 26th, 1961 in Waterbury, Connecticut, was cast as Jackson Latcherie. Jackson was in love with a woman named Shelby Eatenton and they were seen getting married midway through the movie. Jackson and Shelby would later go on to have a son. One day, Jackson came home and noticed that his son was crying so he looked for Shelby and noticed that she had collapsed due to complications surrounding kidney failure.

At the hospital, Jackson was informed that Shelby could only be kept alive through life support so he signed papers to have her removed from life support.

He was seen grieving the loss of his wife and attending her funeral. McDermott guest starred on the TV shows "Will and Grace" and "Ally McBeal". He is best known for his role of Bobby Donnell on the TV show "The Practice".
2. I dressed up as the Easter Bunny. Who played me?

O'Connor, a native of Illinois, portrayed Sammy Desoto. Sammy was in love with a woman named Annelle and they eventually got married. Sammy was delighted when Annelle told him in one scene that they would be having a baby. At the end of the movie, there was an Easter egg hunt in a nearby park and Sammy dressed up as the Easter Bunny.

While at the park, Annelle went into labor and several people ran to get Sammy to let him know. In the final scene of the movie, Sammy was seen getting on the back of Truvy and Spud's son's motorcycle to go to the hospital so he could witness the birth of his child.

While en route to the hospital, Sammy was still dressed as the Easter Bunny. O'Connor starred in the films "There Will Be Blood", "Van Helsing" and "The Mummy".

Skerritt played Drum Eatenton in "Steel Magnolias". Drum was M'Lynn's husband and Shelby's father, and he was pleased when his daughter announced she was getting married. While at her wedding, Drum spoke to Ouiser and he asked her if they could call a truce long enough so he could get a slice of wedding cake. Ouiser responded by cutting him a slice of cake.

There was another scene where Drum and Ouiser got into an argument and Ouiser commented to Drum that she was about at the end of her rope with him. Drum responded that she perhaps should put the rope around her neck.

There were a couple of other scenes where Drum and Ouiser fought. Drum was melancholic at the hospital when his daughter died due to complications from a kidney transplant. Skerritt was seen in the movies "Top Gun", "Alien" and "Black, White and Blues".

Johnson, born in 1970 in Greenwich, Connecticut, landed the role of Tommy Eatenton. Tommy was the son of M'Lynn and Drum Eatenton as well as the brother of Shelby Eatenton Latcherie. There was one scene where Tommy said hello to Ouiser and laughed when she snapped at him. Tommy had a fondness for basketball and liked to play the sport as often as he could. Tommy did a silly prank right after his sister got married when he adorned her honeymoon automobile with condoms.

Despite this, he and his sister still had a great bond all the way up to her death. Johnson had a guest starring stint in 1983 on the TV series "Tales from the Darkside".

He was also seen in the films "Toy Soldiers" and "Lean on Me".

Field, born on November 6th, 1946 in Pasadena, California, was cast as M'Lynn Eatenton. M'Lynn was seen talking to Shelby in one scene about a psychiatrist who came into her place of business twice a week and how she had to get her a gift so she asked Shelby to remind her to pick up a present for her. M'Lynn then spoke to Shelby about her husband, Jackson, and how it must be nice for her since she was married to a rich lawyer.

In that same discussion, Shelby informed her mother that she was pregnant and M'Lynn was excited for her daughter.

However, she was saddened near the end of the movie for her grandson, Jackson, Jr., when his mother died. M'Lynn was seen at her daughter's hospital bedside right after her breathing tube was removed from her mouth.

At Shelby's funeral, M'Lynn broke down and said she wanted to know why God picked on her daughter. Her friends were there to console her through her grief. Field starred in the movies "Norma Rae", "Mrs. Doubtfire" and "Legally Blonde 2: Red, White and Blonde".

Truvy asked her how that went and Clairee responded that she loved the part when Janice Van Meter got hit in the head with a baseball. Truvy inquired as to whether Janice was injured but Clairee said she doubted it.

There was one scene where Truvy mentioned that she had a very strict policy about crying and that nobody would cry alone while in her presence. Truvy also once commented that her favorite emotion was when you could muster up laughter through tears. Parton guest starred on the TV shows "Reba", "Mindin' My Own Business" and "Heavens to Betsy".

She also stated she hated to see movies since it appeared as if all they featured were naked people. She claimed to also dislike reading as she knew most of the books would become mini-series which she knew she would hate.

In another funny scene, Ouiser stated that people were only nice to her as they knew she had more money than God. In one scene with Annelle, Ouiser was getting annoyed with her religious talk so she told her to take her Bible and get lost. MacLaine had roles in the films "Being There", "The Turning Point" and "Gambit".

In 1984, she won an Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading role for the film, "Terms of Endearment". Other Oscar nominees for Best Actress in a Leading Role that year were Jane Alexander for "Testament", Meryl Streep for "Silkwood", Julie Walters for "Educating Rita" and Debra Winger for "Terms of Endearment".

Dukakis landed the role of Clairee Belcher in "Steel Magnolias". Clairee was seen talking to Truvy about the beauty salon and Truvy was heard telling Clairee that she liked hiring people who had an interesting past. When Truvy told this to Clairee, it was about an 18 year old woman she just put on her payroll and Clairee stated the girl did not live long enough to have an interesting past. Truvy told Clairee it was time she got with the times and realize that anyone who could reach puberty, like her new employee, could have an interesting past.

There was another scene where Clairee made a funny comment about how the only thing which separated women from animals was their ability to accessorize. Dukakis also was in the movies "Look Who's Talking", "Day on Fire" and "Away From Her".

In 1988, she won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for the movie "Moonstruck". Other Oscar nominees for Best Supporting Actress that year were Norma Aleandro for "Gaby: A True Story", Anne Archer for "Fatal Attraction", Anne Ramsey for "Throw Momma from the Train" and Ann Sothern for "The Whales of August". Dukasis's brother is Michael Dukakis, the 1988 Democratic nominee for U.S. President.

Hannah, born on December 3rd, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois, was cast as Annelle Dupuy Desoto. Annelle was seen arguing with her husband, Sammy, one day when she found beer in her refrigerator and she asked him not to keep any alcohol in the refrigerator. To please Annelle, Sammy took the beer and dumped it out in on their deck. Annelle was seen in another scene with Clairee and she got annoyed with something Clairee did and told her that what she did was not a Christian thing to do. Clairee simply told Annelle that she should lighten up.

There was another scene where Annelle argued with Ouiser and Ouiser facetiously informed her that she prayed all the time so Annelle responded that she suspected Ouiser always prayed. At the end of the movie, Annelle was sitting down on a bench at a park, then she stood up and realized that she was in labor.

She was seen getting into a car to head to the hospital. Hannah starred in the films "Kill Bill: Volume 1", "A Walk to Remember" and "Cowboy Up".

Roberts, a native of Smyrna, Georgia, portrayed Shelby Eatenton Latcherie. Shelby had diabetes and there was one scene where she was getting her hair done at Truvy's shop and she went into shock. Shelby was seen drinking some orange juice and she started to feel better once her blood sugar improved courtesy of the juice.

Shelby was seen midway through the movie with a haircut and her friends told her that they liked it. One day, Shelby was playing with her son at her home when she had a diabetic attack and collapsed.

She was then seen in the hospital with a breathing tube, which provided her oxygen, but she was eventually taken off life support. All of Shelby's family and friends gathered at her funeral to pay their respects. Roberts had roles in the movies "My Best Friend's Wedding". "Erin Brockovich" and "Charlie Wilson's War".

In 1990, she received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for "Steel Magnolias" but lost to Brenda Fricker for "My Left Foot". Other Oscar nominees for Best Supporting Actress that year were Anjelica Huston for "Enemies: A Love Story", Lena Olin for "Enemies: A Love Story" and Dianne Wiest for "Parenthood".
