Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which one of the following did not star as a member of the middle aged Wild Hogs gang?

Answer: John C McGinley

Tim Allen completed the biker foursome. McGinley was the playful police officer who happened upon the Wild Hogs while they were camping in the woods, and later again while swimming.
2. What was the name of the Del Fuego leader?

Answer: Jack

Ray Liotta portrayed the role of Jack Blade. Later in the movie it turned out that he was also the son of the founder of the Del Fuego gang, who had taken to riding alone.
3. A game played (probably only) in the little town of Madrid, New Mexico, was known as "slap the bull". What did the game involve?

Answer: pretty much what it said

The townsfolk entertained themselves with a unique game called "slap the bull", and talked the Wild Hogs into having a go at it. The Hogs never expected that the game quite literally involved slapping a live bull! The idea was to sneak up behind a large, unsuspecting bull and smacking it hard on the rump. Then the running started and the player had to get away as fast as possible and clear the fence before the angry bovine had time to catch up.

Woody went first and was successful in "slapping the bull", while Doug, during his turn, was not so lucky, after he further annoyed the poor animal.
4. While skinny dipping, the Hogs were joined by a young family. What did The Wild Hogs claim lived in the pool, hoping that the family would leave ?

Answer: Crawfish

Not expecting any company, the Wild Hogs enjoyed themselves in the buff and with abandon at a small rocky pool just off the road. They were shocked when they were suddenly joined by an exuberant young family, and had no chance to cover up. The Hogs were forced to stay in the water and resorted to trying to scare the intruders off by claiming that crawfish lived in the pool.

The husband, on hearing about the crawfish, immediately dived and tried to catch one. He then made the terrible discovery that led his family to scamper off.
5. Who did the diner belong to that the Wild Hogs tried to protect?

Answer: Maggie

Dudley fell in love with the owner of the local diner, Maggie, during the chili festival in Madrid. The Del Fuegos took the diner hostage and threatened to wreck it if the Wild Hogs refused to come out and fight.
6. After the Wild Hogs were chased away from the small New Mexico bar, Woody returned alone and sabotaged the Del Fuego's bikes. What was the aim of this madness?

Answer: To retreive Dudley's motorcycle

While at the bar Dudley was forced to swap his bike for the Del Fuego leader's
wreck of a panhead, which proved unrideable. Dudley lost his bike and had to be be carted off in a sidecar.

Less than a mile further, Woody, overcome by the injustice, returned to reason with the Del Fuego leader. As he got back to the bar, however, he talked himself into stealing Dudley's bike back and severing the gang's fuel lines.
7. What type of motorcycle belonged to Dudley?

Answer: Sportster

Dudley almost lost his Harley-Davidson Sportster in a bum deal by believing that he was swapping it for a classic panhead. The Sporty has been produced in different incarnations since 1957 with modern models powered by a fuel injected Evolution V-twin engine. The geeky Dudly suffered numerous crashes in the movie, but somehow he, and his Sportster, survived.
8. Which Wild Hog opted to ride without a helmet in spite of his friends' warnings?

Answer: Woody

Woody Stevens was a bankrupted, recently separated businessman. It was he who invited the other three middle aged men to join him on the road trip to California.

The foolish gesture of riding without his helmet presumably appealed to his sense of freedom and recklessness. The Hogs also turfed their cell phones for the same reason.
9. The four Wild Hogs each had his own problems. What career did Bobby unsuccessfully attempt during his one year sabbatical from plumbing?

Answer: author

Somewhat henpecked, Bobby's wife, "persuaded" him to give up writing and return to his former more lucrative profession of unblocking toilets. Doug struggled to relate to his son, while Dudley was shy when it came to women. Woody was bankrupt and his wife was leaving him.
10. Doug, now a successful dentist, was well known by another name years ago in college. The contrast between this nickname and his current mundane existence was a reminder of a more exiting and dynamic past. Can you remember what the young Doug was called in college?

Answer: The Golden Knight

Doug was known as the Golden Knight during his heady college days, a reference to his once daring nature.

During the big rescue scene, when Doug was about to race over to where Dudley was suspended from a tree, Doug insisted that Woody and Bobby cheer him on by calling out his old college name, the Golden Knight.
