"Old Tige" was on the reverse side of Jim Reeves' popular hit "Distant Drums".

Answer: Carroll County Accident

Porter signed with "RCA Records" in 1955. He joined the "Grande Ole Opry" in 1957. He was finally inducted into "The Country Music Hall of Fame" in 2002.

Kitty Wells was voted the nation's "Number One Country Female Artist" for Fourteen Years straight. She was inducted into the "Country Music Hall of Fame" in 1976 and received the "Country Music Pioneer Award" in 1985.

At the start of his career, Hank Snow was known as "Hank, the Yodeling Ranger". However, when he grew older, his voice changed and he was no longer able to yodel very good so he changed his name to, "Hank, the Singing Ranger". He was 85 years old when he died at his home in Nashville on December 20, 1999.

Answer: Mary

Jim Reeves was often referred to as "Gentleman Jim". He had one of the most beautiful voices in country music. Jim was killed in a plane crash on July 31, 1964. His grave is marked with a life-sized sculptor of him in Carthage, Texas.

Loretta and Conway had many hits together such as, "After the Fire is Gone", Lead Me On", (my personal favorite by them), and "Louisianna Woman, Mississippi Man". Conway died on June fifth, 1993.
