15. 'Murder On Music Row' is the only song that Alan Jackson and/or George Strait won a Country Music Award for.

Answer: No

Both of them have won numerous CMA Awards. Alan and George received Country Music Awards for Collaborative Event, Single and Song of the Year. Alan was inducted into the 'Georgia Music Hall Of Fame', George Jones said this about Alan: 'His songs are tantamount to telling a great, great story'. Alan Jackson has said more than once that his favorite artists are: Hank Williams, Sr. and George Jones. I do believe that if Hank were still with us, it would have been Hank, who would have sang 'Murder On Music Row' with Alan. Did you know that George Strait graduated from Southwest Texas State University in 1979 with a degree in agriculture? Strait also starred in the movie 'Pure Country', and he released the soundtrack under the same name. George has done commercials for the following products: 'Resistol Hats', 'Wrangler', 'Justin Boots', and 'Tractor Supply Company'. Strait's tour is sponsored in part by 'Chevy Trucks'.
