Liam played Oskar Schindler in this 1993 movie. However, the Oscar for Best Actor went to Tom Hanks for Philadelphia. As a young man he joined the Lyric Theatre in Belfast before leaving for Dublin in 1978 where he eventually joined the infamous Abbey Theatre. His first movie role was as Jesus Christ in "Pilgrim's Progress".
2. George Best was born in Belfast in 1946. During his football (soccer) career he played for three U.S. teams. Which one did he NOT play for?

George Best died in 2005. In commemoration Belfast City Airport has been renamed George Best Airport. He only played 37 times for Northern Ireland and scored nine times. His most prolific period was for Manchester United between 1963 and 1974. He played a total of 474 times and scored 181 times.

C.S. Lewis went on to study and teach at Oxford University and was a close friend of J.R.R Tolkein. He is best known as the author of the Narnia Chronicles. He died on the same day as John F. Kennedy. The 1993 movie "Shadowland" starring Anthony Hopkins and Debra Winger centres around the relationship between Lewis and Joy Davidman.
