Scripture states he died on the first day of the fifth month of the 40th year after the Israelites came out of Egypt. After his death, Moses removed Aaron's garments and put them on his son Eleazar. A crucial mistake was made when Samson was placed by the pillars that supported the temple. Judges 16:30 states: "Samson said, 'Let me die with the Philistines!' Then he pushed with all his might, and down came the temple on the rulers and all the people in it. Thus he killed many more when he died than while he lived."

Eli is the correct answer. According to 1 Samuel 4:15, Eli was 98 years old and was basically blind when he died. Eli was startled by news his two sons Hophni and Phinehas were dead and the Philistine army had captured the ark of God from the Israelites. Scripture states that as soon as Eli had heard about the capture of the ark of God, he fell backward off his chair and died of a broken neck.

According to Abigail in 1 Samuel 25:25, Nabal was not only wicked but his name meant "Fool". He might have been surly and mean, but he certainly had his comeuppance. The second judge of Israel is known for killing Eglon, the "very fat" king of Moab. Scripture goes into some gory details about the king's death. Judges 3:20-22, in the NIV Bible, states: "Ehud then approached him (Eglon) while he was sitting alone in the upper room of his palace and said, 'I have a message from God for you.' As the king rose from his seat, Ehud reached with his left hand, drew the sword from his right thigh and plunged it into the king's belly. Even the handle sank in after the blade, and his bowels discharged. Ehud did not pull the sword out, and the fat closed in over it." Under Ehud's leadership, the Israelites killed 10,000 Moabites and there was peace in the land for 80 years, according to Judges 3:29-30.

Answer: Elisha

The correct answer is Elisha. The account of the death of Elisha is recorded in Kings 13:14-20. However, just before Elisha died, he was visited by Jehoash, king of Israel. In verses 15-18, Elisha instructed the king to get a bow and some arrows and to fire shots out of an east window and also to strike the ground with the arrows.

As a result of the king's actions, Elisha was able to boldly predict the king would score a victory over the Arameans in an upcoming conflict. In verse 20, Elisha died.

Ahab was one of the most despised kings in the Old Testament with his death reported in 2 Chronicles 18:28-33. So Ahab entered the battle in disguise while Jehoshaphat wore his royal robes. 2 Chronicles 18:31-34, in the NIV Bible, tells what happened next: "When the chariot commanders saw Jehoshaphat, they thought, 'This is the king of Israel.' So they turned to attack him, but Jehoshaphat cried out, and the LORD helped him. God drew them away from him, for when the chariot commanders saw that he was not the king of Israel, they stopped pursuing him.

But someone drew his bow at random and hit the king of Israel between the breastplate and the scale armor. The king told the chariot driver, 'Wheel around and get me out of the fighting. I've been wounded.' All day long the battle raged, and the king of Israel propped himself up in his chariot facing the Arameans until evening.

Then at sunset he died."
