2. "I was married to Judah's sons and when they were both killed by God, I was promised to the last child. However, Judah broke his promise and so I pretended to be a prostitute to trick him into sleeping with me. Who am I?"

Answer: Tamar

Yes, this tale of broken promises and deceit can be found in Genesis 38. Tamar became pregnant from this union and bore twins. The famed king David is a descendant of Perez, the firstborn among the twins.
3. "I was married to Nabal, who showed ingratitude to David after he helped to watch over our flock. David was angered and gathered men to come and take revenge on our household. I quickly hurried to David, and asked for mercy on behalf of my household, which he granted. Who am I?"

Fun fact: God struck Nabal dead, and David went on to marry her. Her quick thinking saved the lives of all the men in her household, and she was also described as beautiful. This story is found in 1 Samuel chapter 25.
4. "The Canaanite army had been defeated, and the commander came running towards my tent. I invited him in, covered him with a mantle, and fed him milk. When he had slept, I took a tent peg and used a hammer to drive it into his temples. Who am I?"

Answer: Jael

The Israelites had been oppressed by the Canaanites untilDeborah and Barak arose to fight against their enemies. They defeated their enemies, but Sisera fled and it was Jael who finished off the commander. This story can be found in chapter 5 of the book of Judges.
5. "I was possessed by seven demons. However, I was delivered by the Lord Jesus Christ and went on to support His ministry wholeheartedly. Who am I?"

Answer: Mary Magdalene

Mary Magdalene, not to be confused with the other Marys, was first introduced in Luke 8:2, and is said to have witnessed Jesus crucifixion. She was also among the women who went to His grave to mourn, but found it empty. She is speculated to be the woman who wiped Jesus' feet with her hair, but there is no evidence pointing to that.
6. "I was married to the king of Persia. However, during a feast for all his nobles and princes, he called me to display my beauty to all of them and I refused to go. And that was how I was deposed, and my title was given to another woman, a Jew at that. Who am I?"

Answer: Vashti

Vashti can probably be described as the first feminist ever. King Ahasuerus had thrown a feast for his people to display his wealth and splendor, and his beautiful queen was also to be put on display. She refused to come out. Worried that not doing anything would encourage other women to act like her, he deposed her, and a new queen took her place.

This story can be found in Esther chapter 1.
7. "He wanted to marry my younger sister and worked seven years for my father to obtain her hand in marriage. However, my father tricked him and on the wedding night, I was the bride beneath the veil. Who am I?"

Answer: Leah

This story is found in Genesis chapter 29. Apparently it wasn't customary for the younger to marry before the elder, and Laban didn't see fit to mention that until Jacob had done seven years of service and married Leah. It will interest you to know that Jacob did another seven years of service to get his true love, Rachel.
8. "I was a harlot living in Jericho when two spies came and lodged in my house. The king heard about their presence and came to investigate, but I hid them. In return they spared me and my family when the Israelites defeated the people of Jericho. Who am I?"

Answer: Rahab

This story is seen in Joshua chapter 2. Rahab apparently knew which side was the winning side, because she hid the spies from her king. In return, all who were in her house the day the Israelites stormed Jericho were spared. She later went on to marry a Jew and birthed Boaz, the great grandfather of David.
9. "I was a disciple living in Joppa and very generous. When I died, Peter was close by and so the other disciples sent for him. When he came to where my body was put, he prayed and said, 'Tabitha arise', and that was how I woke up. Who am I?"

Answer: Dorcas

Dorcas, also known as Tabitha, was so beloved that the widows were weeping at her bedside and the disciples hurriedly sent for the apostle Peter. This story can be found in Acts 9:36-42.
10. "I was an old prophetess who was widowed after seven years of marriage and had been living in the temple for a very long time. When Joseph and Mary brought their child to the temple, I gave thanks to God and spoke of the child to all who were looking for redemption in Jerusalem. Who am I?"

Answer: Anna

This story is found in Luke 2:36-38. According to the Bible, Anna was a very old prophetess who never left the temple, but rather devoted herself to God with prayer and fasting. And this, right here, is what I call devotion.
